Monique raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Why? Don't want my company? Miss your girlfriend already?"
Lisa rolled her eyes but didn't answer right away. "Of course, I need you here. I wouldn't drag you along if I didn't."
"Fine," Lisa huffed, still pouting, arms crossed in defiance.
"Stop pouting," Monique shook her head with a smile. "You'll see Jennie soon enough." Then she gave Lisa a pointed look. "Did you buy a ring for Jennie yet?"
"Huh?" Lisa looked at Monique with confusion written all over her face.
Monique's eyes widened in mock disbelief. "Don't tell me you didn't buy a ring!" she exclaimed. "What are you going to give her when you propose? A piece of chewing gum?"
Lisa's eyes nearly popped out of her head. "Oh my god, unnie, I totally forgot! What am I going to do?!"
Monique just sighed dramatically and dug into her bag, pulling out two small boxes. "Here," she said, handing them to Lisa with a grin. "These are for you and Jennie. And by the way, you're welcome."
Lisa took the boxes hesitantly, still panicking a bit. She opened the first one and saw a stunning ring inside. Her face lit up. "Unnie... this is amazing!"
