We went to Monique's house immediately when Mina and Joseph informed us that she is finally awake. She was already sleeping when we arrived at her house.

Joseph and Mina explained to us about Monique's current state.

So, you're saying that Monique unnie has amnesia? Lisa asked.

Yes. They answered in unison.

She will not know who we are to her? Jennie clarifies.

That's right. Joseph answered.

How are we supposed to act in front of her? Rosé half yell.

I don't know, just act normal. Joseph replied looking exhausted.

Jisoo are you ok? Mina asked.

Y-yes. I am ok. Just trying to process everything that you all said. Jisoo answered with a cracked voice. You're saying that she lost 2-3 years of her memories? She added.

Looks like it. Joseph quickly answered. Look, guys, I know it's hard especially for you Jisoo, but she needs our help to bring back her memories.

We understand. We are not going to abandon her. Lisa commented.

I will explain to Irene and Iu too. Mina response.

Did she forget Irene too? Jennie asked.

No, I just update her and be in the loop. And for Iu, I will explain everything like what we did to you guys. Mina added.

You guys need to rest, you know your way here in the house. Joseph stated. Rosé love, I am going to sleep in my parent's house. They went home already, I am going to stay with them to check on them. They are too vulnerable because of all these. Joseph explained to Rosé.

I understand. I will see you soon. Rosé replied kissing Joseph.

Jisoo, are you going to stay in her room? Mina asked.

No, I don't want her to freak out when she wakes up. Jisoo immediately replied. Can I see her though just for a minute and get some clothes too? Jisoo added and Mina nodded in agreement.

Jisoo holding Monique's hand and caressing her face. How can I ask you to marry me if you don't remember me? Jisoo whispered. Monique let go of soft groans. Jisoo was startled and let go of Monique's hand and kiss her cheek. She immediately left the room, holding the clothes she took and went to the guest room where the four of them are staying.

How is she? Jennie asked.

Sleeping, peacefully. I replied dryly.

I still can't believe all of this. Lisa commented.

Me too Lisa, me too. Rosé commented.

The universe says "Screw you, Jisoo," and gives Monique amnesia... I mean, what the hell is going on? What's the point? I mean, is there a reason for this? Because if you can think of a reason, any reason at all, why the universe is so screwed up ... and random and mean, now would be an amazingly good time to tell me, because I need some answers. Jisoo suddenly burst out crying.

Listen.. one way or another she will remember us. She will remember you. Rosé reassured her.

She might forget that you are her girlfriend, but she will not forget that she is in love with you. Lisa stated.

What do you mean? Jisoo asked.

I remember Monique unnie said that she's been in love with you since our training days. In her current state right now, she forgets the memories of you being her girlfriend but not the memories of being in love with you.
