"I'm so excited for tonight!" Jayden exclaimed as we were in the car getting a ride to my house from my brother.
"Your sleeping over Jayden?" Jack asked her. For some reason, Jaydens checks were starting to turn pink.
"yeah, I am" she responded.
"Your disgusting Jayden" I said because I knew she got butterflies just from being asked a question by my brother.
She turned to me and gave me a wink. I shock my head and giggled a little.
When we had arrived we both ran in the house and up the stairs to my bedroom. I closed the door behind me and we both sat on my bed.
"Tell me everything!!" Jayden said with excitement.
And I did tell her everything! From going over his house, to meeting Millie and Issie, to becoming Millies friend and borrowing her sweatshirt, to Issie calling me his girlfriend, to going to the craft store, to watching the movie, to me falling asleep and me waking up practically in his arms, to him liking my Instagram post, and finally, to the moment we had in the morning before Johnny had come to pick me up. I explained that everything felt magical and unreal. How I really liked him and why I didn't tell her. I explained that I wanted to prove her wrong but I just simply couldn't.
She freaked out half of the time and thought this was all 'cute'.
"Now that I told you everything going on...I have a question to ask you" I told her.
"And what's that?"
"Do you like Jack?? As in, my brother?"
"Oh- no- I don't."
"Quit lying! I can see it right through you."
"Okay fine! But who wouldn't!!"
"Listen, I'm not mad, but you know-"
"What"
"Jack has a girlfriend"
"Oh-"
"I'm sorry!"
"No no! Its alright!"
She seemed disappointed and I actually felt really bad. Of course I wouldn't be mad though! I do find it a little weird but that'll mean, if they end up together, she would be like my sister!
"Here! Why don't we stop talking about boys and go downstairs to watch a movie! I heard "A Dogs Purpose" was good!" I said trying to cheer her up.
"Fine!! But bring tissues! I heard it was pretty sad!"
Once we made it downstairs, we grabbed multiple snacks like candy, ice cream, chips, drinks, and many other snacks.
"Okay, ready!?" I asked as we were sitting on the couch. She nodded so I pressed play.
Jack was always in his room and my mom was still working which gave us time to watch the movie as quiet as possible without any interruptions. My mom has been working a lot more because since dad has gone off to the U.S., we still need money for right now.
We were halfway through the movie now and I heard sniffling coming from my left. I turned to see Jayden balling her eyes out
"Jayden! What's wrong? This part isn't even that sad!!"
"What do you mean!! Ethans stuck up there in the fire! It's just so cute that he put the dog first before himself!!"
I handed her the tissue box and said "here, you might need these"
She grabbed them from my hand and we continued to watch the movie.
