Time skip to 5:45

I was getting ready to leave so I grabbed my purse and phone. I was ready to go and as I was walking downstairs, I forgot that I had never told my mom I was leaving. I didn't want to tell her about Louis  just yet, so I said I was going with Jayden, once again.

"hey mom! I'm going with Jayden, I'll be home later"

"Be home by 9:30!! You've got school tomorrow!"

"Yes mom!"

I had forgotten I had school tomorrow since today I was supposed to but some sort of holiday was today. I honestly don't know, I don't pay attention to these things.

As I walked out the door I saw Louis waiting for me  at his doorsteps.

He approached me with a smile and said "ready to go?"

"Not exactly, but yes"

"Skating isn't that hard!"

"Easy for you to say Partridge"

"It's really not, and I'll be there to help you!"

We continued to walk until we arrived at the skate park. It was pretty empty. There were only two other people here which is good, because I wouldn't embarrass myself in front of more than two people.

"Alright, let's start by having you simply step on the skateboard."

He grabbed my hands to help me get on the skateboard. I took a deep breath and got on the skateboard. I could barely even balance myself. Gosh, I know I'm just embarrassing myself.

"There! Your doing good!"

"All I did was get on the skateboard though. And plus, I can barely do that! I'm struggling to stay in here!"

"Your struggling but yet your managing to do it! Now I'll just move the skateboard back and forth, nothing big!"

He put one of his feet on the skateboard, in between my two legs. He was making the skateboard move slightly and although it was hard to keep my balance, it was going pretty good.

"Good good! Now you try moving the skateboard. I'll still hold on."

I nodded and held his hands as tight as possible. I felt like I was going to fall in any moment. Once my leg was on the ground, I started pushing myself and I was actually doing it! With the help of Louis of course.

"You did it!! Now you try on your own!"

"I don't think that's a good idea Partridge"

"Come on! I'll be right next to you, following your every move!"

I took a deep breath and slowly let go of his hands. With my legs, I began to push myself and I was actually doing it! I was actually riding a skateboard all on my own! I felt like I was going to fall in any moment but I had managed to do it! Until...well...I fell. Louis tried catching me but fell right on top of me. Well, almost. He was holding himself up with his arms but he was still over me. This is the most embarrassing moment ever! We kind of just froze there and stared into each other's eyes. I wanted to kiss him. Really bad. But I resisted. I just couldn't do it. I've never even have a relationship so I'm new at this!

"I- I'm sorry. Are you alright?" He said as he started to get himself up.

"yeah, I'm fine. Are you?"

"yeah, I'm good. I'm sorry about this, I probably shouldn't have-"

"no, it's alright! I had fun!"

He smiled and said "Well, I'm glad! You did pretty good for a beginner!"

"I'll take that as a complement!"
