"Welcome everyone! I hope you are all excited to be starting a new school year!"
Everyone was starting to enter the classroom. I looked around, looking for a place to sit.
"Wait! Before you all take a seat, I thought it would be easier to have assigned seats so everyone please stand against the wall until I call your name and tell you where to sit."
Great. Just great. Assigned seats are my worst nightmare. Actually no. The worst is when teachers randomly pull a stick out of a jar with your name on it, meaning, you've just been randomly called on.
"Alright, everyone will be seated next to one other person. This will help us out when we have to do partner work in the future! Alright, Sarah and Jayda, please take a seat in the first row."
She continued to call names until she finally reached mine.
"Madison, please sit in the 6th row next toooo...hmmm let's see...oh Louis! Your showing him around the school anyways right?"
I nodded and began to walk to my seat. I knew this was going to happen. I would have to get paired up or sat next to Louis for most of my classes considering I have to stick with him all day long. I'm not complaining- wait- no, I should be complaining. I cant let this kid get to me.
"So, tell me about yourself." The boy asked.
"What more do you want to know? I think I said enough during two truths and a lie earlier."
"Well, from that, I was only able to know that you have an older brother, you like to paint, and your favorite color is a light green."
He remembered. The boy actually remembered. I should probably stop calling him "the boy" but it's helping me not fall for him.
"You're correct boy. I have the most annoying brother, I enjoy painting, and yeah, my favorite color is a light green." I said focusing my attention on the teacher so I wouldn't have to exactly make eye contact with him.
"Boy?? So your calling me boy now? I have a name you know?"
Louis POV:
I actually quite liked it when she called me boy. It gave me this weird feeling in my stomach, almost as if I was nervous. I've never felt this feeling, and I'm not entirely sure what it was.
"Hello? Madisonnnn?" She was zoned out and I was trying to get her attention once more.
"hm? You called me?"
"yeah! Are you ever going to tell me something about you other than your favorite color, siblings, and painting??"
"Well what would you like me to tell you?" She asked as she turned to look at me. The eye contact made my stomach go into...butterfly's??
"What do you like to do other than paint?"
"Well, I don't really have a specific hobby. I kind of just go where life takes me. I enjoy going out at night though. If it's with friends or even on my own, it's always fun. Going around London streets, looking up at the sky, going on bike rides, going to the beach, just, relaxing I guess."
She had a smile on her face the whole time. I could tell she loves everything she mentioned. She said everything with passion.
"that's pretty cool, I love that. When my sisters and I were younger, we used to sneak out at like midnight when our parents were asleep and just wander around the streets. Looking for something to do.
Madison's POV:
Louis was interested in what I had to say. He was one of the only boys who seems like they genuinely care. He talked a lot about his sisters. I can tell he really cares for them. The boy had a big heart and I enjoyed talking with him.
"Louis? Madison? Is there something you would like to share with the class??"
"No Miss, we apologize." The boy says I just nod my head.
Louis turns to me and gives me a quick smile.
Time skip to after class:
I went to my locker because I needed to get some books for my next class. And ofc, Louis followed.
"So...are you just going to follow me everywhere I go??" I asked as he was just standing there waiting for me.
"Possibly" he said with a smirk.
"Wait! Louis?? Is that really you??" Said a faint voice.
"William??" Louis said as he turned around.
It really was William. I don't like that boy. He always bothered me during class last year and I hated it. We also may have liked each other in the past and had a few moments, but we were never really a thing. He bothered me a lot and I really hope he's not Louis friend.
They gave each other a 'bro' hug and then William spoke up.
"What are you doing hanging out with this girl Louis?"
"Her names Madison actually. She's just showing me around for a couple days."
William turned to look at me and said "Ahhh...you sure you don't like him Mads??"
"No, I don't. Like he said, I'm just showing him around."
"And don't call me Mads!" I said already walking to class.
