25 | Bubble Tea?

"Mads!! Madison!!"

"What do you want Jack?" I said as I was waking up from him shaking me and begging to get up.

"Johnny should be here in 15 minutes! You slept in!"

"Shit! Thanks Jack" I said as I run out of bed.

"Language! But your welcome"

I quickly threw on some jeans and a green shirt. I then went to the bathroom, brushed my hair, and put on some mascara. I didn't have time to do anything else so I had to go like this. As I was running out the door I could hear a car honking which was probably Johnny, but before I got out the door, I grabbed a waffle that my mom had been making in the kitchen.

"Sorry, sorry! I woke up late!" I said as I got in the car with my waffle in my hand.

"Here. I always bring extra makeup!"

"Oh my god! Your a life saver Jayden!"

As I was in the car, I was trying my hardest to do my makeup without messing up. These bumpy roads aren't too good when it comes to doing makeup! I simply used some blush, eyeliner, and finally just fixed up my mascara.

"Your makeup looks nice!" Louis said who was seated next to me.

"Thanks!"

"Enough back there love birds!" Noah said.

The car ride got awkward for a second until Johnny turned on some music. The song that was playing was "Promiscuous" by Nelly Furtado. At first, everyone was singing but then it got quiet and it ended up being only Louis and I singing to the song almost directly at each other.

"Promiscuous girl,

and it's you that I want" Louis sang as he looked at me.

"Promiscuous boy,
you already know
That I'm all yours,
what you waiting for?" I sang as I looked back at Louis.

We didn't even notice that we were the only ones singing by now. The words to the song, felt true to me but I don't know if Louis felt the same about the words. When we noticed the whole car was silent except for the music and Louis and I singing, we looked at each other and immediately stopped.

"Great show!" They all said sarcastically as they applauded at me and Louis.

"Alright alright, we're done!"

"Louis and Mads sitting in a tree k-" Jayden started to whisper to me but before she could continue I put my hand over her mouth and we both began to laugh.

We then had arrived to school and it was another typical school day. For English, we were told that we had to work on our projects so me and Louis will have to meet up again to work on that. I was thinking that later I could go get some bubble tea with him. I should probably repay him for being a gentleman yesterday and letting me use his flannel. That was...extremely embarrassing. And yes, I washed it and gave it back to him. Before I knew it, it was around 2:30 and Jack and I were on our way back home.

"Mads?"

"yeah?"

"Who's that boy you've been hanging out with?" Jack asked.

I thought I should tell Jack the truth because I know he wouldn't tell mom.

"His name is Louis"

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"No, but I like him. A lot"

"Woah-"

"You cant tell mom!"
