12 | Car Ride

Louis POV from last night:

I was about to change into some pj's so I walked in my room and went to my dresser to pick out some clothes. When I turned to my right, I saw Madison! Yes Madison! She looked like she was having a lot of fun! I mean, she was dancing around using her hairbrush as her microphone. I couldn't believe it. Was she actually my neighbor?? Changing wasn't too important right now, so I left my clothes on my bed and hopped out of my window and found a ladder that was leaning against my house. What a coincidence haha. I grabbed the ladder, put it against Madison's house and climbed up until I reached her window. I knocked a couple a times and she eventually opened the window with a pocketknife in her hand!?

"Woah! Watch the pocketknife! And when we're you going to tell me you were my neighbor?" I asked.

I needed to ask her, or maybe I just wanted to see her.

I took a look at her room. It was actually really nice. She had fairy lights with small Polaroid films on it. I saw Jayden on some and even Noah and Johnny. She looked as if she was getting ready for bed as her sheet covers were undone. She also had some LED lights going along the top of the walls with a lot of plants everywhere as well. Her room felt warm and welcome, it was nice.

Time skip:

Madison and I were having a great conversation until her mom knocked on the door so I had to quickly go.

As I was going through the window I accidentally hit my head but I don't think Madison saw that as she was looking towards the door making sure her mom didn't come in.

"you've got good music taste. Goodnight Madison." I said before leaving. She smiled at me and I instantly felt my face burn up and turn my lips into a smile.

I climbed back through my own window and actually went to change. I grabbed the pair of clothes, went in the bathroom to change of course, and then came back to my room to see Madison pacing around her room. It looked like she was texting someone so I just assumed it was Jayden. She looked really nervous yet excited. I wonder what she was talking about. Was it about me??

And then we made eye contact...whoops! It was kind of awkward because it made it seem like I was staring at her. I mean technically I was, but I didn't mean it in a awkward way, I was just...admiring her? I gave her a little wave and a smirk and she waved back...but then she closed the curtains. Shit.

I got in bed and drifted off to sleep.

Madison's POV:

The next morning...

Once again, I was woken up by the alarm clock. That annoying little thing. I got up and got ready for school. Its only the second day and I'm already exhausted of waking up this early. I got up from my bed and put on a green oversized shirt with some black ripped jeans and my black converse. Pretty cute outfit if you ask me.

As I was walking downstairs, I saw that Jack was JUST now getting up. He's for sure going to be late but thank goodness I'm getting a ride with Johnny and my friends again. I walked in the kitchen and made myself some quick waffles before going. On the side, I put some strawberries and poured myself a cup of orange juice.

I had noticed that my mom still wasn't up yet so I once I finished eating I went to go knock on her door.

As if poked my head in I said "Morning mom, I'm getting a ride with Johnny again."

"Yup, that's fine."

"Great thanks, where's dad by the way?"

"I don't know, he said he had an important work meeting this morning so he left a while ago."
