When summer holiday hit, I went home with James. It was really nervous. When we arrived at Kings Cross, I bid my goodbyes to Remus and Sirius.
"Calista! It's lovely to see you again," Mrs.Potter said as she hugged me.
"You as well,"
"I read Larson, by the way," Mr.Potter said
"Oh? And did you improve?"
"I guess you'll see when we get home," he chuckled. There's no way I'll lose.
"I cannot express how great full I am towards you all. Thank you, thank you so much,"
"You're like my sister, Jones. I wasn't gonna have my sister sitting in an orphanage," James chuckled
"I'm sorry about your mother, Calista," Mrs.Potter said in a sorrow tone
"Thank you,"

"This is your room," she said as she opened a door, revealing a very large room. The room was in the shape of a triangle. It was painted a dark green and had a few chairs. It was perfect. There was a shelf that had some books on it, and a wooden violin stand in the corner along with a table with an expensive looking chess board. Somehow, for just a split second, I forgot everything bad. I forgot about my mum, my dad. Everything. I forgot about the unfairness I'm not just the wizarding world, but also in the muggle world. I felt content. Happy.
"This is-" I didn't even finish my sentence. I hugged Mrs.Potter tightly. "Thank you, Mrs.Potter" I whispered
"Please, call me Mia," she said as she broke the hug.
I walked into the room, James following close behind. "I helped design it, by the way," he said as he sat down on the bed.
"I'm impressed, Potter,"
"Oh! That reminds me. Mum wanted me to ask you how you felt about having our last name. You can keep yours of course, but just, incorporate it into your name. You don't have to, no pressure,"
I sat down next to him, laying my head on his shoulder. "Calista Marie Potter. I like it,"
"Then you are officially a Potter. Welcome to the family, Cal,"

"James! Cal! Lunch!" Mrs.Potter called.
We walked down the stairs and sat down at the table. "I was thinking," Mr.Potter started as he shoved a potato in his mouth. "Maybe we could play some quidditch after lunch. What do you think?"
"Do you play?" Mrs.Potter asked
"James and Sirius have been teaching me. I teach them academically and they return the favor and teach me how to play,"
"Then it's settled, first team to get 50 points, wins,"
"You're on," Mrs.Potter said.
"Girls against boys. Mia, you will be keeper. I want to see how Cal does on a broom." Mr.Potter said. Maybe I can beat her at this. "I'll be chaser, James you'll be keeper,"
"But dad!" James groaned. His dad gave him a look. "Fine,"
They got out the brooms and handed one to me. "Let's see what you've got, Potter," James said
I smirked and climbed on the broom, before shooting up in the air. Mr.Potter flew in front of me and their house else threw the quaffle up in the air. I let him go for it, because as always, he focused on speed. I sat there for a moment before shooting down so that I was under him. Just as he was about to throw it, I swooped up and caught it. I heard Mrs.Potter cheer.
