Remus' pov
"You're nothing but a monster! Get away from me! I could never love something as horrid as you!" She screamed. She had no face, but I knew her. I knew her voice.
"Wait, don't leave, come back," a man pleaded. I couldn't move. I was stuck in place. My arms and legs were glued to a bed. I tried to scream, but I couldn't. My heart started to race. A man that I recognized stood over me.
"I love you," the man whispered. I was able to move again. The man walked away and shut the door. I shot up from the unfamiliar bed and raced after him. I was in an old house. I knew this house.
"Wait!" I shouted. But the man continued to walk down the dark hallway. "Wait!" I said again.
The man opened the door to a room. There was a rope hanging from the ceiling and a chair in the middle of the room. Other than that, it was empty. I stood in the doorway. "Who are you?" This time, he looked at me and smiled with tears running down his face.
"Goodbye, Remus," he said and wrapped the rope around his neck.
I shot awake, sweat running down my face. My breathing was quick. "Hey, hey, shh, it's okay, Remus it's okay," Calista said softly as she placed her hand on my shoulder. We were inside of her room. It was dark. How did I get here? I finally looked at her. She had her hair pulled back into a low bun. She was wearing my jumper and shorts. Her glasses were on the bridge of her nose.
"I couldn't stop him," I whispered.
"Who?" She asked softly as she wiped the hair that was sticking to my forehead.
"I-I don't know,"
"It's okay, love. I'm here,"
We sat in her bed for a while. She read to me in a soothing voice. My head was on her lap. Her free hand was running through my hair. "You need a shower," she giggled.
I got up and took a towel from the hallway closet. "Do erm you want to..."
"If you're comfortable with that,"
"More than," I said with a grin.
I started the water in the shower and she started to undress. I was still in complete and utter awe when I saw her. She took down her hair and her glasses and stepped into the shower. I stood there and watched as the water rolled down her body perfectly. The way she arched her back as she wet her hair.
"Are you coming or are you just going to stand there?" She giggled
I quickly took off my clothes and stepped in. She moved out of the water and I took her place. My body instantly relaxed when the hot water hit my face. I flinched when I felt her tug at my hair slightly as she put soap in. "Sorry," She muttered. I turned around so I was facing her. She lightly scrubbed my scalp with her fingers, making my eyes roll in the back of my head.
"That feel good or something?" She laughed
"Oh shut up," I chuckled as I stepped back to wash it out of my hair. "Did you use your shampoo?"
"It smells good," she shrugged. She opened the conditioner and rubbed it in my hair. "Don't rinse yet,"
I took my shampoo and lathered it in my hands, before trying to put it in her hair, but she dodged. "As much as I love you, I don't want to smell like, what is this? Ah, yes, I don't want to smell like 'Moon water and river moss.'" She read.
I rolled my eyes playfully and put it in her hair anyway. "It's only fair. If I have to smell like vanilla and cinnamon, then you have to smell like whatever this is," I chuckled
