I didn't even know where to go so I ended up going back to my room. The others weren't there and mercifully nor was the mouse. Since I didn't have any lessons today, I decided to binge-watch the whole season of Legacies.

After watching two episodes however my stomach rumbled, and I realized I hadn't eaten anything since the flight. I got up and slipped on a cardigan over my cami and wore my slippers. Then I walked outside trying to find the dining room.

I ended up getting lost and reaching the science lab instead. I considered my options. Either I could go to the front desk which I really didn't want to. Or I could ask Austin since he was the only person I knew. Otherwise, I could go back to my room.

I decided to just go back to my room because I didn't know Austin's dormitory number.

I trudged back upstairs and pulled out a packet of chips from my suitcase. They were the hot and spicy ones. Within two minutes flat, I had finished it.

Just as I lay down to sleep, the three devils burst in.

It was going to be a long night I thought as I fished into my duffel bags for my earplugs.

My alarm rang at eight the next morning. After showering and changing into a black button-down crop shirt and navy blue shorts, I finished one more packet of chips for my breakfast and headed down for my first class, Advanced English which mercifully had the directions to the room on the back of the introduction letter.

I thought I was going to be early however by the time I arrived all the seats were taken except for one. The one next to Austin Wilson.

He was wearing a black t-shirt with black jeans and had his legs stretched out across both the seats.

I walked over to him. "Austin can you move your feet I need to sit?" I requested him. He ignored me. "Austin?" no response.

Why was everyone here such an asshole?

By this time everyone had begun to stare at me, and I felt myself heat up. I kicked his legs off the bench and sat down next to him.

He looked up stunned, "Hey Brown, you got a violent streak, haven't you?" he smirked. I turned away and did not reply.

 Arrogant ass.

The teacher walked in. She was a short middle-aged woman who had grey hair cut in a bob.

"Good morning class I am Miss Willow your advanced English teacher. Welcome freshmen and welcome back to the rest of you. This month we are going to be covering an advanced unit in poetry by Shakespeare."

She took out her copy and began to paraphrase his sonnet.

I listened to her and was taking down notes when Austin tapped me on my shoulder.

"What was the last line?" he whispered "I didn't get what it means,"

"It means that death cannot claim the subject of the sonnet as it has been immortalized in his verse. Basically, as long as there are people on this Earth who can read the sonnet, the subject of the sonnet can never truly dies as he continues to live in our memories." I explained.

"Thank you, Brown."

"No problem," I shrugged.

I was just going to start writing again when he tapped me again.

"What now?" I asked.

"You're not bad, Brown, let's be friends," he said.

"What makes you think I would want to be friends with an arrogant ass like you?" I retorted.
