The cab arrived outside the mall within half an hour. I paid the driver and went inside. It was smaller than the one in Cal, but it was luxurious and high end. I looked around for a while and finally arrived outside a cute shop called Madam Marie's interiors. I walked inside and was greeted by a short old lady.

"Hello dearie I'm Madam Marie and welcome to my shop." She had a high and squeaky voice.

"Hi, I'm actually here to look for some décor for my college dorm." I told her

"Aha! My grandchildren will assist you! Get up! Get up you lazy lumps!" She shouted at two people sitting on an antique plush sofa.

They rushed over to us. The boy was probably seventeen and had long brown hair and blue eyes. He was tall, tanned and had a dimpled smile.

He was very good looking.

The girl looked about the same age but was quite short and had the same brown hair and blue eyes.

"I'm Zack and she's my twin Zara." He said pointing to his sister.

"I'm Heather," I told them.

"Nice to meet you Heather," Zack held out his hand and I shook it. "Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only 10 I see!"

I blushed at his cheesy pick-up line.

"You're a hopeless flirt," Zara said as she shook my hand, "How can I help you?" she asked.

"I'm looking for some décor for my college dorm." I told her. "Oooooh that's nice so one thing that you have to see are these divider curtains," she said gesturing towards a beautiful sky-blue velvet curtain. "They'll give you privacy from annoying roommates if you have the type I do."

"I'll definitely pick up these," I told her.

"Great! Also, we have these new bedsheets...."

Within half an hour I had selected some fabulous curtains, bedsheets wall hangings, posters and also a side table for my bed. I couldn't wait to go back and set it all up.

Zara smiled at me as she packed my stuff up. "I would love it if you would come and check my dorm out once I'm done," I told her.

"Of course," she said, "Here's my number just call me up whenever."

Zack came from the back room, "What about me?" he pouted, "Don't you want my number,"

"Sure," I shrugged.

"Zara! You lazy no-good scumbag! Why do I see this dirt on the shelf?" screamed Madam Marie, "You bring your butt right here and get down to scrubbing these shelves".

Zara muttered some not-so-nice words under her breath, then rushed over to her grandma leaving me alone with Zack.

"So, gorgeous," he said, "Would you like to go out with me sometime?" he asked.

I smiled, "Sure why not?"

"Great here's my number," he handed me a piece of paper, "I hope to see you soon,"

I arrived at my dormitory an hour later. There had been a lot of traffic on the way back and I was exhausted. I crashed on the bed with my bags and was just going to doze off when I saw an incoming call. It was Austin. I ignored it and got up.

I had work to get done.

After one hour, flinging fifteen bottles of the bathroom shelf, throwing seven t shirts on the floor, and ripping eight posters of the wall, my new room was ready.
