Chapter 16:

A week later my tattoo and piercings have healed completely, and I absolutely love them. Austin's look cool too.

We both are sitting in his room legs crisscrossing on his couch and are playing online scrabble.

When I first entered his room today, I was in shock. It was more than double the size of my dorm room and it was gorgeous. It was black-themed which Austin had chosen himself and it was perfectly my type.

"Your turn cub," Austin says.

I don't bother with the nickname anymore.

Suddenly my phone rings and I look at the caller Id; Zack.

Before I can pick it up, Austin snatches it from my hand and holds it up high. "Give it back Austin," I whine.

"Whose Zack?" he asks.

"He's a friend," I reply.

"Just a friend?" he asks.

Before I can say anything, Austin answers the call.

"Hello," I hear Zack say.

"Ya, what?" Austin asks rudely and I frown at him.

"Can I speak to Heather?" he asks.

"No thank you," Austin replies.

"Who are you?" Zack asks him.

"I'm her boyfriend." he says, "Now get lost before I murder you, and stop disturbing our scrabble game,"

I launch myself at Austin and punch his arm. Then I snatch my phone from him and glare at him.

"Hi Zack," I say, the phone is on speakerphone and Austin is listening.

"Hey Heather, how are you,"

"I'm good, I didn't know you had a boyfriend," he says.

I turn red, "I don't. That was Austin, he's my friend."

"Just a friend?" he asks.

"No you creep I'm her best friend," he smirks.

I kick Austin to shut his mouth.

"Anyways," he says ignoring Austin, "Do you want to go on a date this Saturday?" Austin shakes his head and I frown at him.

"Sure, I would love to," I tell him and cut the call.

"Why did you agree to go on a date with him?" he asks me accusingly.

"Why what's wrong?" I ask.

"He seems like an ass hole, and you can't just trust every guy you meet around here," he says.

"You haven't even met him, besides I trusted you," I reason.

"Just trust me and don't go," he said.

"I have to I already said yes, and I can always call you up if something goes wrong. Besides it's not even a proper date, we'll just go out for dinner, nothing romantic."

"You're such an idiot," he says, "There's nothing like a platonic date besides I don't want you to date a complete douche bag,"

"Stop it Austin," I tell him and walk out of the room.

I wake up early on Saturday morning and go to Austin's room. He's already awake and sitting on his table, typing something.

"I need your help," I say and dump my bags on his table.

I sit down and listen as he helps me with my homework, and I complete the whole thing in time.
