"Mommy?"
A four year old zephyr sat in her mother's arms on the edge of the cliff watching the sunset.
"Yeah zeph?" Astrid answered, moving herself a bit so she was more comfortable.
"If you had to choose between humans and dragons really quick how would you?" the young girl asked and astrid smiled.
"I'd look right over there" she pointed behind her on the small island and the girl looked.
"OH NO ERGH AHHH THE GREAT DRAGON MASTER IS DEFEATED BE THE YOUNG MAN OH LOOK AT THE STRENGTH!" hiccup was playfighting with a toddling nufffink and laughing.
When he played dead the boy began to cry so he shot up faster than a nadder on chicken.
"BUT THE DRAGON MASTER IS UP AGAIN OH MY GOODNESS HOW WILL NUFFFINK HADDOCK WIN? ATFH ATFH AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the man chuckled as his son began to throw small punches at him.
The love and adoration in the fathers eyes was something that couldn't be reaplced with anything in the world. He seemed to glow at the very sight of his son. He looked over to his wife and daughter, a huge smile on his face and waved.
The girl waved back, but Astrid just stared, small tears welling up which she quickly wiped away before they could escape her eyes.
He pulled a funny face at the two and astrid laughed, what she claimed to be 'dust' in her eyes.
"see?" she asked her daughter when they stopped watching.
"yeah" the girl nodded and turned back to the sky.
Just finished watching 'We bought a zoo'. Pretty emotional. This is where that came from. I know it's short but I nearly cried at it. Cried so hard at the movie definitely recommend.
