I step out the elevator after Loki, still thinking about the comment he made. Me ... being naughty ... I can imagine a lot of contexts where this word could be used. And the tingling feeling I got when he said it, his rough voice with the slight godly undertone. Could it be that I ...? I bite on my lip. I always liked Loki, but I never had the idea of it being a crush.
"(Y/N), we are here. How far do you want to go?", Loki snickers as he looks over his shoulder.
I stop and turn to him. "I just ... thought through some stuff."
"Oh, what stuff?"
"If we should go grocery shopping or getting us a magic book first", I reply.
"Definitly the magic book", Loki says as he opens the door with the key he has stolen from me, apparently.
The lock clicks and the door swings open. We step into a hotel room that is bigger than I expected, with a wide window front where we can look over the street in front of the hotel.
"This doesn't look so bad", Loki says. "But ..."
As I walk into the room I see what he means. "Oh. The reception person told me there are two beds."
Loki looks at the double bed in front of us, then at me. "Well, I know you do enjoy looking at me, but I didn't think you would go this far -"
"Loki!", I say as my face begins to redden. "Stop that. It's - I didn't - that are two beds, just shoved together."
I lift the bed sheets to show him as he starts to laugh.
"You are just so funny when you are embarassed", he chuckles.
I start to part the beds to gloss over my emotions. Loki soon helps me what turns out to be way more effective.
"Done", I say and look at the beds, which are now roughly one meter apart from each other.
"Yes. Now we can look after the magic books", Loki answers and heads towards the door.
"What? But ... we drove for so long. Don't you want to take a break?"
"No, not - oh, I see you want to lie down next to me?" He puts his hands on his hips. "Wow, (y/n), you really are desperate for me!"
"Wha- oh, will you ever stop teasing me?", I laugh and follow him outside.
"Never!", he answers.
