Neil POV
My boyfriend of two years Todd Anderson has been avoiding me lately. We live together in a small apartment flat. But it's time to confront him.

I snuck up behind him whilst he was cooking breakfast. "Toddy why are you avoiding me?" I questioned him, I probably look like a child. "Come with me tonight and you'll find out." He said. I giggled and sat down on the table. "I'm sorry I've been avoiding you it's just, this a really big surprise and I'm worried about how you will react.." Todd said in guilt. "Aw, it's ok love.." With that we kissed each other goodbye and went to work.

Time skip
I finished work and got in the car and drove to the park eagerly. Todd must have slipped a note in my bag telling me to meet him at Central Park.I got there and ran to the coordinates as fast as I could. Once I got there Todd Anderson was standing before my eyes.

"The place I met you..." I said slowly. (YES I KNOW THEY MET AT WELTON DONT COME FOR ME) "Ok so, I don't want you to say anything until I'm done." He said as he grabbed my hands.

Todd pulled out a piece of paper and began to read a poem. "Love is not a word to say. Love is not a game to play. Love doesn't start in April and ends in May. Love is yesterday, tomorrow, and forever. Will you be mine to the eternal.
As long as the stars twinkle in the sky, As long as angels are there up high, Till the ocean run dry and till the day I die. I will love you.
You are the only one who understands me even more than myself. You are the only one with whom I can share everything, even my personal secrets. I want you to be with me always. I love you. So," he got down on one knee and I gasped, "Will you marry me?" I stood there speechless. "Yes you poet, I will marry you, I love you." Todd sighed in relief and I slipped the ring onto my finger. I hugged him, tightly.

"Why'd you say yes Neil?" He asked me. We were sitting down near a lake and holding hands. "Because Todd Anderson, we were once told to carpe diem." I said a bit sadly. I had been thinking about Mr. Keating recently and how he would react to Todd and I. "Do you remember that poem I wrote?" "Of course... it's the most beautiful poem I've ever heard." I muttered. "Are we talking about the same poem? The one about the sweaty-toothed madman? And the blanket?" The blonde boy asked in disbelief.

"I close my eyes and this image floats beside me:
A sweaty-toothed madman with a stare that pounds my brain.
His hands reach out and choke me,
and all the time he's mumbling.
Truth like a blanket that always leaves your
feet cold.
You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough.
You kick at it, beat at it  it will never cover any
of us.
From the moment we enter crying to the moment we leave dying, it'll just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream."

I'll make sure everything is perfect for you Todd Anderson...
