Charlie POV "Come on Knoxious it'll be fun!" I laughed at my best friend. I was currently at the amusement park trying to get him to go onto the highest ride in the park.
"No way." Knox said.
I give him the puppy dog eyes, they always work. "Fine but only on one condition." He sighed with the evil tone of voice I knew oh-to-well.
"You have to hold my hand." Knox wickedly smirked.
"What?!" I shrieked. Those words ran through my mind like an olympian.
"Fine." I sighed.
"It doesn't mean anything." Knox blankly said.
When he said that I zoned out. I had loved Knox since we left Welton Academy with Todd and Neil. They were off somewhere doing lovey-dovey stuff.
"Hello? Earth to Charlie?" Knox asked waving a hand in front of my face.
"Y-Yeah let's go." I muttered.
We walked up and got tickets for the roller coaster. We got on and we started getting higher. I had to tell him.
"Knox?"
"Yeah?"
Higher...
"I think...
Higher...
"I'm in love with...
Almost at the top...
"You-!" I started screaming as we went down the hill and reached for Knox's hand. We intertwined our fingers squealing really high pitched.
I saw Knox's face tint green. I started laughing my head off. Lucky for us the ride photo was coming up and it took the best photo.

We got off and I had to support most of Knox's weight because he was so dizzy and sick he couldn't walk. "Here's your photo boys!" The lady said. We took one look at the photo and then we looked at each other and burst out laughing. The lady took it back and looked at it with confusing and then cackled with Knox and I. "T-Thank you ma'am!" I said through laughter.
We walked off.
"Did you mean it?" Knox asked.
"What?" I replied.
"That y- never mind." The brown haired boy said. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Wait tell m-." I was cut off by a soft pair of lips on mine. I pulled him closer by putting my arms around his neck.
We walked over hand-in-hand to find Neil licking ice cream off Todd's nose.
"Y'all are weird." I said.
"Hey what's that?" Neil curiously asked.
"Your hands!" Todd gasped.
"Shut up!" I snapped and started chasing Todd and Neil who were now singing: "Knox and Charlie sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G"
