Chapter six

Giyuu and (Y/n) POV

After eating what seemed to be brunch with the flame pillar since the morning passed by quickly, the two figures weren't sure of what to do until an event popped up from yesterday.

"I don't think I ever apologized to the girl I tied up," she thought as she walked a bit behind Giyuu. He noticed her deep thinking so he suddenly came to a stop causing her to bump into him. She frowned as she rubbed her forehead.

"What's wrong?" He asked her.

"No nothing- where is the butterfly estate?" She asked since she recalled her wearing a butterfly pin on her side ponytail, (y/n) was so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed a frown had formed on his face.

"It's that way where a bunch of annoying butterflies are flying around" he said as he pointed to the estate's direction.

"Ah- okay thank you" she said but abruptly stopped.

"You're not going with me?" She asked and received a no.

"I'll see you later" he said as he turned the opposite direction of her.

"Okay then" she replied.

"Perhaps he's not comfortable there" she wondered but paused once again.

"Wait did you mean the butterflies are annoying or all the people in there are annoying?" She questioned him since she assumed the people there would all have butterfly hair pins. He stopped as well and answered without looking back.

"You can decide," he said as he continued. She huffed and turned to her desired destination.

Mini Time Skip~

(Y/n) POV

The walk to the Insect Pillars estate was shorter than expected as she had reached the perimeter within minutes of talking to Giyuu. She reached to estate only to be swarmed by butterflies in an instant. Many were on her head and arms leaving her frozen.

"What am I supposed to do?" She questioned as she stayed in place to not hurt the insects in any way. Until a certain girl came storming out to the garden.

"Who are you!"

The butterflies then flew away except for a single one that laid on her index finger, it was light blue. (Y/n) then remembered a presence there and slowly turned to the girl in pigtails with two blue pins on each side of her head.

"Umm I'm (y/n) (l/n) a demon slayer" she replied while still having the butterfly on her finger. The little girl remained with her menacing glare.

"What do you need?" She questioned but before she could answer a certain insect pillar came.

"Ara? What do we have here?" She cooed out while going towards Aoi.

"Shinobu-sama were you expecting a visitor" she questioned firmly.

"No but the Ice Pillar is welcome here anytime" she assured, causing the poor little girl to pale.

"My apologies I was just not aware of whom you were" she bowed down to her apologetically. (Y/n) then smiled as she reached down with her free hand to lift up her chin.

"No worries, it's not a big deal anyway" she said as she smiled making her blush. The girl could then only nod and back away to where Shinobu was.

"Well then would you like to come in?" Shinobu asked.

"Only if I'm not interrupting anything" she said as the insect pillar frantically gestured to her to follow. But (y/n) didn't know what to do with the butterfly as she gently tried to shake it off.
