Chapter 8 🩸

At Gloria's Bar
Gloria is sitting at a table, her hands floating above a large tome on a table filled with candles. Klaus, Rebekah, and I are at the bar.

You left us. Rebekah says

Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode. Stefan says

Tell me about it. Klaus says
Stefan looks at Gloria.

What's she doing? Stefan asks

She's failing. Klaus says

It's hard to find something when you don't have anything to go on. Gloria says

So use me. I only wore it for a thousand years. Rebekah says

See? Now this one offers a solution. Gloria says
Rebekah sits at the table.

Good, give me your hand, darling. Gloria says
Rebekah gives her hand.

She's, uh, she's looking for the necklace, huh? Stefan asks worriedly
She still has Rebakah's hand.

I can detect something. Gloria says
Stefan appears to be somewhat stressed.
Gloria does magic.

Anta Cotis Syrum, Anta Cotis Syrum... Gloria chants
Gloria drops Rebekah's hand and takes a gander at Klaus and Stefan.

I discovered it. Gloria says

So where is it? Rebekah inquires

It doesn't work like that, doll. I get pictures. There's a young lady with her companions... Gloria says

Indeed, a dead young lady with dead companions, on the off chance that I don't get my necklace back. Rebekah says

All things considered, I'll need to jump back in to get the subtleties. Gloria says

So jump. Klaus says

Don't rush her Klaus. I say

I need more time. Gloria says
Klaus walks over and leans on the table Gloria is seated at.

And space. You're harshing my ju-ju. Gloria says

We can wait. Klaus says

I'm sure you can. But that's not what I asked. Gloria says

Hey. Hey, you know, why don't we just come back later. I'm hungry anyway. I'll let you pick who we eat. Stefan says
He begins strolling to the entryway and glances back at them. Klaus takes a gander at Rebekah and they leave with Stefan I follow them.
Klaus is on a sofa drinking from a young lady and Stefan is doing likewise seated in a chair. Rebekah looks at them sitting on top of a  nearby crate. I'm sitting close to Klaus drinking on a guy.

My young lady's dead. I'm exhausted. Rebekah says
Klaus takes a gander at Stefan.

You weren't joking about being eager. Klaus says

Better believe it. It's been a difficult day. Stefan says

Try being related to her. Klaus says and laughs.

She is the fun one don't forget that. I say

You're being mean. And why are you being mean? You used to love me but it's okay I don't need you I have Scarlet.

It's been ninety years, Rebekah. Give him a minute. Klaus says

Why are you taking his side? Rebekah asks
