Chapter 4

Katherine's P.O.V.

Once me and Two-Bit got home, I went straight to bed. I was so tired, even though I only played one game of football. I fell asleep that night thinking about Steve, and why I don't have a crush on him. But no matter how hard I tried, I still found reasons to like him.

Johnny slept on our couch that night, his parents were fighting, again. I offered for him to stay in my room, but he said the couch would be just fine. Johnny was a nice kid, I liked him, as a friend of course. He was someone I could talk to, someone I could trust with my deepest darkest secrets. 

"Morinin' Johnnycakes!" I said, yawning, while walking into living room where Johnny was on the couch still sleeping.

"Morning." He said, still tired. 

I sat on the couch beside Johnny, I went under the blanket with him. "Hey Two-Bit, Mickey Mouse is on!" I hollered.

I then heard him run down the stairs - and moms favorite Royal Doulton teacups rattle - , tripping in the process, and he sat down right in front of the T.V. "Mickey!" He squealed. I rolled my eyes and looked at Johnny who was laughing at Two-Bit who was glued to the T.V.

"Want some breakfast, Johnny?" I asked getting up and walking to the kitchen. 

"No thanks, I told Pony we would meet at the Dingo and eat there. Wanna come?" 

"Sure! I would love to! Let me get ready first." 

"Okay."

I go upstairs to get changed, and put on a red polka dotted tie front t-shirt, and daisy dukes. I put on a leather jacket and my black converse shows. 

"Hey Two-Bit we're heading out now." He didn't respond so we just left. 

As we were walking to the Dingo, Johnny suddenly blurted, "How do I kiss a girl?"

"Well, as you feel the person out, gently touch your lips together. Keep your lips slightly parted and kiss the person for five or ten seconds before releasing them. While kissing, keep your hands active. Cup the person's face, stroke his hair, or caress his neck with your hands.

But if that doesn't work for you, do my seven step rule;

1. Get consent to kiss. 

2. Introduce your tongue slowly. 

3. Build your way up to sharing more saliva.

4.Use your hands. 

5. If you're going to bite, be extremely gentle.

6. Keep your lips soft

7.Be in the moment."

Wait, why was Johnny asking me how to kiss a girl? "Johnny, why are you asking me, we are the same age, haven't you ever kissed a girl yet?" 

"No..." Johnny said shyly.

"Oh Johnny, I didn't mean to make you feel bad." I said feeling guilty for making him feel bad.
