Ben ten omniverse: Special( Ben Tennyson x reader) Discontinued

I'm getting straight to the point, I do not enjoy writing this book anymore. It goes from my schedule time, to crush on Ben fading, to my new interest in fandoms. Most importantly, I've been working on this for five years and it's nowhere near complete!

Just like the other book I discontinued, and unpublished, I didn't like y/n's personality until the very recent chapters. In the beginning, while reading, she gave off a very 'I'm not like other girls' vibe which made me cringe BADLY. There' was barely any romance, besides the alone time, the kiss on the cheek (from what I remember) b/c I was too afraid to explore that concept, especially since I was in high school while making this. I probably wrote some characters wrong, since some might sound out of character. I made y/n Mary Sue, before toning it down near the end by clearing it up, which I shouldn't do, I shouldn't explain, I should show it by describing and planned it earlier. Two months. It took two months to finally realized that I didn't have the same enthusiasm I had when I first started the book, b/c I held no interest in the storyline anymore. From my second discontinued book, and while planning what came next, I was disappointed I myself, knowing this was another failure, considering how there were some people out there who liked this book. Just the other day, I confessed how I didn't want to write this book anymore and had no clue what to do, until Prettycureace12 snapped me out of it, by asking me a question that made me realize my interest, PrettyCureace12, it you're reading this chapter, just wanna give you a wick thanks, really. And to answer your question...

I'll write what interest me, and gives me joy

I know this is annoying, considering the fact I discontinued Jon Kent x reader just a few months ago, that's why I thought of another book: BNHA/MHA: Izuku Midoriya x fem! reader. Some people might not like the idea, especially how 'iffy' some people in the BNHA/MHA fandom are, or don't like Deku that much, but I want to enjoy writing and editing something while being motivated, not the opposite by postponing updates like this book. I was original thinking, "Hey, why not an RWBY gender-neutral reader insert?" Which I've had written down as an idea, only for it to be shot down later when I discovered I actually had a plot for BNHA/MHA and y/n's back story and personality in a google docs since a year ago, I decided to go with it. Already knowing myself, I know I can't balance two stories, so going with one, especially with a fandom I've been active and never given up interest off for years now, was a good idea.

The release for this fanfiction will be either this month or next month for editing and a rewrite, so I'll be busy with the first chapter. Here's the book cover (it might change, once I officially published the book):

P.S.: If you're wondering if I did finish this book, yes, Ben and (y/n) do have a happy ever after, Ben 10,000 is married to older! (y/n), and had two kids (+ Devlin as an adoptive son), Ken (the older biological brother) and Ren (the young sister by one year, having (y/n)'s hair colour only, her middle name is y/n's mother in memory of her.)
