Chapter 45: "I'm proud of you!"

The cavern shook all at once, from where team Ben arrived from, the ceiling began breaking apart, as blocks collapse. The Pyronites still stood their ground, not backing out.

Knowing what I have done, I looked at the visitor that was apart of my plan in getting out of here, as I coughed into my elbow, clearing out the remaining smoke quickly as I did.

At the top of the boulder, stood a being. Pale, with red lips, reddish eyes,  hair, blue, flame-like as she peered down at all of us, grinning.

"Which one of you losers ordered a Starby-Special!?" The female Pyronite yelled as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"You nearly killed all of us!" I called her out, "That was the worst entrance I have ever seen! Worst than-"

"Hey, princess!" She pointed right at me, sliding down from where she was, now ground level.

"You asked for my help, remember that! I'm here to serve, plus, I brought the company that just might do the trick, in snapping the others out of Charmie's spell."

On cue, a loud, thumping sound was heard, entering the cave. Dozen crab-like boulder creatures crawled into our nearly destroyed shelter.

"I didn't tell you to bring this many!" That was the plan, to bring a Pyronite's natural predator into the mix because instincts and the will to live is a normal thing, the one thing I thought that would get everyone to go fight or flight.

"Hey, but your little plan is working, see?" On cue, the magenta from the spell Charcaster cast on them was no longer in their eyes, screams of terror were beginning to be heard, and a fight initiate as Pyronite's now had their free will back or fought back to defend themselves, flying all over the place to get away from danger.

"Ahh, music to my hears." Smiled the blue flamed Pyronite, as I rolled my eyes.

"Calm down, it isn't over yet." Although sarcastic, I smiled at the girl, for agreeing to help out. Finding Starby on the same planet was pure luck when I tried hiding away and running into that cave one time. I'm just glad she agreed since she wanted her solitude back, and maybe, even to reconnect with her people. 

"Thank you." I smiled, turning away. I...still have a lot of explaining to do with the others.

"(y/n)!" My mother shouted, running towards me with the rest as I waved at them.

Seeing them approach, my smile trembled, I reminded my self not to celebrate, not yet. A wave of happiness came over me, as I called out for my mother, running towards her.

"Long time no see-" I began winning, as my mother reached, and pulled me closer, by my earlobe.

"Mom-Ow! Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow." Letting go, I pressed against the ear, aching as we speak. She was quiet, after, and I quickly took the liberty to explain myself, "I know what I did was stupid and dangerous, but please, easy on the ears, my head still hurts-"

Mom's arms instantly wrapped themselves around my shoulder, pulling me over for a hug.

"You're darn right it was." She mumbled,  she slowly pulled away from the hug, to look at me, taking me in. "Do you have any idea how worried I was..?!" Mom's voice cracked near the end, "When your heart monitor stop-I couldn't.."

"I'm sorry mom," I said, understanding her point of view, "I didn't mean to scare you, at all, my..." I trailed off, seeing two familiar friends approach.
