Chapter 16: Countdown

A/n: Just so you know, I read through the last chapters I publish made me cringe a bit.....it was well...okay I guess 0///0 I just put too much music, I hope I won't put more.

3rd person~

You still don't know how to manage to make it safely without falling to your death to earth to meet with the others.

"Hey guys!" you called out, your mother had tears of joy and came running to you.

"(Y/N)!!!!" you woman with the (h/c) hair ran, wanting to give her daughter hug.

You gave your mother a pleading expression not to do it, hoping she wouldn't discontinue her action.

"Uhm..wait! I wouldn't do that if I were you mom-" you blood relative didn't fall, or have a chance to hold you in your arms, she went through you.

"I told you..." you said, you only received frightened expression from your mother and friends,

"Are you...dead!?" Ben asked.

"What!? No! Starby stole my physical form, I'm just the mental form...I guess, I'm not going to die that easy Ben!" you stuck your tongue at the brunette.

Honestly, he was supposed to get angry went you ever made rude gestured towards him, but this time he didn't mind this time, at least you were still alive.

You gaze moved toward Kevin, who was next to Rook who just woke up.

"W-what happen to you?!" you asked, bending down next to Ben partner.

"Nothing serious..." Rook said, rubbing his aching head, "Starby did this to you, did she"

You looked up the skyscraper, your gaze was on the fire alien, but it was also on a certain elderly man.

"You must be really dumb and weak, picking on innocent people, Starby"

"Oh really? Those that mean you're weak since I'm using your body?"

"Just saying, the weaker you are the louder you bark, now be a nice girl and let go of Max!"

you ordered you were really fed up with this girl's attitude.

"Okay" Not given t chance to react, the pyro girl lets go of max by dropping the old man a hundred stories high.

" No!" Gwen, You and Ben yelled out.

'I can't touch him-!' you're were panicking at this point. Ben took action and turned into stink fly and snatch his grandfather, and landed safely.

"Is he okay!?" You asked, bending down in front of Max, who was waking up.

"Grandpa, are you alright?" Gwen asked. "Ya, just fine, just need to rest.."

Ben glared daggers as the trio (Starby, Albedo, Charmcaster) "What is up with them?"

"Can we get my body back now? I don't feel alive without it....I kind of feel like I'm fading away.."

It was true, it felt like you were evaporating from the world.

"Ya, it would be a shame if you were gone, again. This crest is used to get bodies or remove them, so you better hurry!" the pyronite started to run off, flying away from you.

"Urg! I don't have time playing games! JUST GIVE ME BACK MY BODY!" you ran after the person with your body, forget your friends. "Oh, Gwen, Ben? Mind taking care of Charmcaster Albedo, thanks"

~Later, Your POV~

'Urg...I'm wasting time with this stupid Pyro!' I'm getting weaker since I don't my body, I don't need any time to rest because I have limited stamina.

I'm wasting time running around the city, I'm supposed to be getting my body back- ow!!!

My head felt like it was splitting into two....'What the heck is happening to me! Why am I getting this headache'

I thought for a moment, thinking what have coast this pain to began, my body...

Starby must be doing this since she has my body, she can feel pain, so can she...

but right now I can't physically touch anything, thinking about what was going on some more, a ball of fire made it's way to me, barely missing me.

I winced in pain when I felt hit touching me, "Oh I see.." I muttered out loud, not bothering to look up who it is, it's pretty obvious: Starby

" Since you have my body, I feel your pain, you hurt yourself purposely"

"Din, ding ding! We have a winner!" 'This girl....!'

"That body better not be damaged by the time I get it back!" I growled.

"If you want it so badly, fight me!" she demanded, with a smirk.

She jumps up from where she was from and landed on the ground.

"You don't need to, I do want to fight you, so we can end this once in for all, THIS IS PAYBACK FOR WHAT YOU DID TO THE TOWN OF BELLWOOD"

3rd person~

You're (h/c) hairs turned into golden-bronze, your hair started to rise up and burnt like a campfire, your soft (e/c) eyes turned to bloody red.

"Now, that's more like it..." the pyronite said, "I didn't know...you were half alien now that I think of it"

"SHUT UP AND FIGHT ME!" You snapped, you had no time to wait, you would disappear very soon and time was running out, kind of like a countdown.

"You do know if you arm me you'll-" "Feel the pain too, I know, nut I'll do anything to take you down!"

"Well then, let the battle begin..." the two pyro girl charged at each other, not holding back.
