Chapter 26: Fight

Your POV~

A few weeks has past since the hooded boy in red had appeared. Me and Ben havnen't talked, even when we met up, he just ignored me, he still drank smoothies and went on ahead, fighting crime.

Rook noticed the awkward atmosphere and asked what was going on, I replied "I don't know, why don't you ask your jerk of a partner?" Ben didn't need to stop talking to me just because of his ex girlfriend! He should know all of this it tearing me up inside....!

Anyway...., enough of that, Ship (former pet of Julie) would get my mind of things by purposely making me run all over the house, chasing him around. It took him a while to get use to his new surrounding, but, his good, my mom was upset once I brought my new pet home, but got attached to him after a while too.

As always, I'm still not allowed to interfere in Plumbers business, and need to stay safe until second semester of high school started in three months...

3rd person POV

That night, in the (l/n) residence, a certain (h/c) haired girl was unable to close her eyes and go to sleep, she started to move around, thinking if she got the right position, sleep would take over, thirty minutes of struggling, she still found herself staring at the ceiling of her dark f/c room, it was 9 pm, the street lights were were visible, outside.

In the corner of her eyes, she caught a glimpse, of her pet Galvanic Mechamorph (or GM), sleeping peacefully, at its side of the room. 'He makes it look so easy...' you though.

Unable to sleep, she got up gently, not wanting to wake up her pet nor mother, she grabed her dark hoodie with f/c pockets from her closet, and sneaked out of the house through the window to go 'running '...

'I'll be back before anyone notice...' you said to yourself, making sure you didn't forget anything else, you jumped from the roof on to the front yard grass.

You went exploring, passing by the stupid high school you were going next semester, you ended up glaring at the building and growling, not wanting to spend a second, looking at the 'prison' you were going to attend, you went on ahead to other places that were familiar to you.

Like the park you,Gwen and Ben went when you were kids, the same place where.

The air somehow felt a bit colder, causing you to see your own breath as you were breathing heavily once you finish your mini jog.

Just as you were going to walk towards the old swings to sit down, the sound of sirens from afar reached your ears.

Curiosity took over, and you followed the sound, it led you to a fence, that was blocking you from a building, two police cars were park up front, two police officers were on their knees, pointing their flashlight at a shattered glass, one guy from the building threatening to fire, it looked like you came across a hostage situation in an office building.

'Well...this is going to be good...' you smirked to yourself, climbing over the fence with ease, even though the police were here, you pulled up the hood on your sweatshirt to disguise yourself and sneak in, by entering the back of the building.

Once you entered the building, you started to quietly sneak around, and take cover under anything you can find.

You quickly hid behind a photo copier once you detected two silhouettes close by, with weapons, looking out the window, you saw the three hostages who were tied up, shaking in fear...so scared, thinking if they say one word, the criminals might get rid of them.
