Chapter 17

Y/n's POV

I just laid there unable to help Elizabeth unable to fight, I was completely useless and worthless at that moment.

Meliodas you have to save her, you're my only hope.

Seconds, minutes, maybe even hours passed where I couldn't move. There was no sign of anyone other than Guila and Jericho who were still trapped in the sphere.

"Hey, I know we're still enemies but can you see any sign of them?" I groaned.

"I have no obligation to answer you, but due to your state, it won't matter. So I'll be honest with you I cannot see any of them. But since I answered your question may you answer one for me?" Guila responded.

"Sure, what do you wanna know?"

"Why do you sins even want Princess Elizabeth? Isn't she just extra baggage for you?"

"It's not my decision whether she stays or not. Meliodas decided for her to stay, and I agree with his decision to keep her since she's already come this far with us."

"Well then, since I've gotten my answer I believe there's no reason for Jericho and me to stay here."

Guila broke the magical sphere that surrounded her and Jericho after she did that she grabbed me and started dragging me to where Elizabeth ran off too.

"Why are you taking me with you?"

"I plan on taking you back to Liones with us, you could be very useful for information."

Finally, we came to where Elizabeth was.
She was crying out Meliodas's name.

He must have heard her cries because the crystal suddenly shattered into a thousand pieces and a bunch of dark magic spilled out of it along with Meliodas.

Meliodas was oozing with dark magic, his aura was also incredibly dark.

"Captain, is that really you?" I shouted.

He stared at me for a second and ignored my question. He went straight for Jericho and Guila cutting Ban in half since he was in his way.

Guila tossed me to the side as soon as she saw him coming at her.

What the hell is up with him? I hope he's okay.

Meliodas crashed into the ground in front of me and started inspecting me.

"C-Captain? Are you okay?"

He ignored me once more and kept inspecting me.

What is he doing? Is he checking to see if I'm injured or is he just being creepy?

He held up his arm and the darkness on him turned into a large wing. With one flap of the wing, he flew away leaving me with Hawk, Elizabeth, and Ban.

Ban, do you know what happened to him?" Elizabeth asked.

"No idea."

"I don't know either," I added

We could still feel Meliodas's aura grow darker and darker, it was also growing in power.

Ban went and retrieved King who was unconscious.

Ban picked up Elizabeth and grabbed my hand, he started running and dragging me along with him. Hawk ran not to far behind us.

So everyone has to drag me through the dirt?

I felt a menacing shaking under me and I turned around to see the ground flying up into a floating island.
