Chapter 10

Now back to the main storyline!

Y/N's POV

Meliodas opened the door and Ban followed him out.

"Looks guys it's the Necropolis!" Meliodas smiled.

"That shithole is the Necropolis?" Ban questioned.

"It's not what I expected either" Hawk added out of nowhere.

"How did a town like this get a name like that?" Elizabeth commented.

"Where did you two come from?" I asked with extreme confusion.

"Nevermind that we should probably start setting up the tavern to get some food money" Meliodas interrupted.

"Whaddya know Cap'n actually does sell the drinks."

"When he's working he's so cute!" Diane fangirled over Meliodas.

"And I'm gonna put all you guys to work to bring in some customers!" Meliodas pointed to Diane "Jumbo billboard girl!"

He then pointed at Ban "you start grilling up some tasty grub jailbird cook".

"Oh who me?" Ban giggled.

"Are you sure you want this guy handling our food?" Hawk interjected.

"Trust me I know it's hard to believe but this guy is a real whizz in the kitchen."

"Yeah well i don't know about that" Ban laughed.

"All right let's get to work! Put your backs into it you guys!" Meliodas cheered.

"Please Sir Meliodas I want a job my injuries don't bother me anymore."

"Just don't push too hard Elizabeth."

"You got it!"

I chimed in "Meliodas I can do a small job too. If I keep being lazy I'll never get back to my former strength."

"You can go help Ban in the kitchen".

I guess it's better then nothing.

Diane started fangirling over Meliodas again something about her being happy that he chose her to be the billboard girl, and while that happened Ban grabbed me and started dragging me into the town.

"Ban what the fuck, where are you taking me?"

"To go look for King"

"He said to get information not look for King"

"What kind of information are we gonna get in a gloomy dump like this."

He has a fair point.

"But isn't King rumored to be dead? Are you trying to find his grave?"

While we were walking Ban caught sight of a little girl leaning against the entryway of a run-down house.

"Elaine?" he whispered.

"What did you say? I couldn't quite hear yo-"

I was cut off by him dragging me in the direction of the little girl.

The little girl abruptly fell face-first into the dirt of the pathway.

"Uh oh" we both groaned in unison.
