Chapter 24

You looked at Zeldris with pleading eyes practically begging him to leave you unharmed.

"We'll just keep her as a hostage."

I said "let me go" not "hold me hostage" but I guess it's better than being killed.

He swerved his head over to Hendrickson.

"You have been helpful so I will spare you. If you hesitate to leave I will kill you."

Hendrickson took that chance and ran away.

So they set him free but not me?

Wait a minute, Zeldris said his power level was sixty-one-thousand but right now it's only at ten-thousand?

"Zeldris I thought your power level was sixty-one-thousand but right now it's only at ten-thousand?

"The effects of the seal depleted all of our magic power. After some rest it should be back to normal. Edinburgh hill is to the East we should all go rest there."

"Are you capable of flying?"

"I can teleport and I can make portals but no I cannnot fly."

"Well, then hold on for dear life."

"What do you mean by tha-"

He grabbed you and flew into the air.

It was less than thirty seconds before you landed again.

"Never do that again or I'll kill you."

"I have you held hostage, you are in no position to give me death threats."

You scowled at him. "Whatever."

You rotated your body away from him only to catch a glimpse of a giant hole in the ground.

"What's that?"

"A hole obviously."

You glanced to the left of you, the voice who made the comment came from a boy who was wrapped in a large green vine.

"Thank you, I couldn't tell it was a hole by myself."

"There's no question Meliodas is responsible. Damn him what could he of possibly been doing out here." Zeldris concluded.

"Now come on let it go Zeldris, let's try to relax and enjoy ourselves. We haven't been here in years." Melascula yawned.

"Estarossa! What do you think?"

To Zeldris's disappointment Estarossa had already fallen asleep.

"Brother!"

So that's his brother? They don't look very much alike.

Estarossa and Zeldris spoke about something called an "Albion" along with the other Commandments.

You tuned them out and sat on the edge of the hole.

What's stopping me from just teleporting away? I mean it sounds like a good idea.

The more you thought about it the worse the idea got. If you teleported away and they found you again they would most definitely be angry.

Well they can't get angry at me if they don't catch me again can they?

Wait, that's dumb logic. Even if I leave I have no place to go, I don't want to put that poor old woman in danger and the sins probably hate me now.

"The two Albions we sent out were defeated." Fraudrin exclaimed.

"Who cares about them anyway, cause to me they're nothing more than ancient toys." Melascula stood there staring out into the distance.
