14. Hero names

Thank you to the person who informed me that the hero name that Izuku chose didn't mean what I thought it did, I have changed it so it makes sense.

Sunday night

Bakugo's pov

"Why won't the damn nerd come out?" I complained in the common space. "Well he probably thinks we're scared of him, I mean he did kick your ass" Shitty hair replied, "I'D HAVE BEATEN HIM IF HE HADNT TORN HIS UNIFORM!" I shouted back "Really? YOU blew his uniform off him" Icy-hot pointed at me "has Mr Aizawa or Mr Yamada been able to see him?" Pikachu asked "no, All we know is that there are constant Disney movies being played" Icy-Hot answered. I grumbled before charging upstairs. I knocked on Deku's door softly. I placed my head on the door and started talking "Deku, please come out, I'm worried. You didn't hurt me and I'll kill anyone who dares attack or call you ugly" I said softly. I heard light sniffles before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I suddenly felt weird and turned up in Deku's room. I looked down and saw him stuck to my side. I softly touched his back before returning the hug "i-i-i-I Th-th-though I killed you!" He shouted while looking up at me. "you couldn't kill me if you tried" I quoted him. He laugh-cried before grabbing me tighter. "I'm sorry" He mumbled into my chest between sobs. "No need Izuku, I asked for a fight and I got a bit more than I asked for" I replied while I slowly picked him up "call me Deku". I slowly removed the goggles from his eyes to see massive eyebags. "When was the last time you slept?" I asked with narrowed eyes. He managed to shrug while stifling his tears. I placed him in the bed since he was in pyjamas before removing my T-Shirt "Wha? What are you doing Kacchan?" He asked frantically 

"Simple, I think that as soon as I leave you'll go back to your movies, so I'm sleeping here" I replied with a huff. He blushed before burying his face in the pillow. I chuckled in my mind and slumped into the bed beside him "night Kacchan" He mumbled before starting to snore. 'he's much too like Mr Aizawa' I thought before taking out my phone 

Class 1-A

Exploder: I managed to talk to Deku, he hasn't slept so I'm going to stay with him for the night

Shoto: Is he alright? did you check if he was harming? is he doing alright?

Base (mina, you know base is the opposite of acid): OHHH does someone have a crush

Shoto: I'm concerned about my classmate. I happen to know a bit more about him than you so I know how he must've felt when everyone saw him

Tape: Jeez man calm down

Engines: CAN YOU ALL PLEASE GO TO BED? WE HAVE SCHOOL TOMMOROW!

very hard: Yeah we can talk about Aizawbro tomorrow

Exploder: I'll tell Eyebags and Cockatoo

I looked for Deku's phone to get eyebags phone and found it beside his laptop. I flipped it open and looked for a contact named dad or papa. I found the number and copied it into my phone before texting it

Bakugo: This is Bakugo, Deku let me into his room, he's asleep at the moment. He spent the whole time watching Disney movies and looking at cat videos by the looks of it

Eyebags: would you mind staying with him? not to say I don't trust him but I would like to make sure he wakes up tomorrow.

Bakugo: Okay 

I put away my phone and hopped into the bed beside Deku. I smiled down at him before falling asleep right beside him.

Next day

I got woken up, not by my alarm but by shifting to my left. I opened my eyes to see Deku being very confused "Oi nerd, you alright?" I asked with my morning voice "y-yeah, I'm gonna go change" He said before teleporting somewhere. "I'm gonna go get changed, I'll be back in a bit to bring you to school" I replied. I unlocked his door and walked to my room. I got into my uniform and grabbed my bag. I made my way down only to bump into Icy-Hot "Is he okay?" He asked "he's fine Icy-hot, at least around me. I'm gonna walk him to school" I replied before pushing past him. I arrived at Deku's door and opened it to see him standing awkwardly with his goggles on. "take them off" I demanded. He sadly shook his head before producing his finger. I took the hint and grabbed it softly. 

He ended up teleporting us to the staff room "Izuku? What's Bakugo doing here?" Ms dominatrix asked. he looked down awkwardly before teleporting us to the empty classroom. "Are you okay Deku?" I asked "Of course, I can heal my body easi-" "no, as in mentally" I interrupted. He huffed slightly before looking away. "All those people saw my ugly scars... and they know that I have multiple quirks" He gripped his desk and his hair rose. "They're never gonna let me be a hero" He muttered continuously. I rolled my eyes before going through my phone, I had seen a few videos of people's comments on the sports festival. I pulled a video of a pink-haired kid who got way too into it

"Watch" I demanded while shoving my phone into his hands "And that kid, in the end, I have no clue what might have happened to him but he's still fighting on. and I mean did you see the wings and his hair moving? he has multiple quirks! That's so cool! I didn't even think that that was possible! and he managed to take down the explosion Kid who was doing really good!" The kid shouted excitedly "and what about the other events?" The reporter asked "All the students did a really good job! that purple-haired kid using the mines to launch himself was amazing. and in the cavalry battle, the multi quirk kid was amazing, he was doing backflips while falling" He continued fawning over us while Deku started crying happy tears.

"see? People thought that you were amazing, they were just shocked at how good you were" I give him a smirk while he gave me a hug. "Could you two separate? I'd rather not watching a kissing scene on my first day" Brainfuck said from the door. Deku blushed before letting me go. "Shut up Brainfuck" I snapped. I sat in my seat and watched as the rest of the class arrived. Deku still had his goggles on but you could tell he was happier. Mr Eyebags arrived twenty seconds later. He stood at the top of the class, breathed in and opened his eyes. "as you can see we have a new student, This is Hitoshi Shinso, ask him questions in your own time because we have better things to do" He stated before turning on the projector. "as you can see, these are the amount of agency's willing to take you. Normally it's a bit more spread out but still" A bar chart appeared. Me, Deku and Icy-hot got almost all of the agencies "Here are your lists, look over them and decide before the end of the day" He stated before walking to the door. "For the rest of the class, you'll be deciding your hero names. Please think about them hard or you could be stuck with a stupid name" Eyebags looked down almost as if he was flashing back.

Ms dominatrix appeared at the door and walked to the podium. "Each of you are to take a whiteboard and write your idea's, I'll be deciding if you can use them" She instructed. Everyone was nervous to go up until frog girl went up "I've had this in mind for a while, the rain season hero: Froppy" she ribbited "oh that's cute!" dominatrix cooed. We all sighed when we realised that she'd like anything. I went up next "The best hero: KING EXPLOSION MURDER!" I shouted "Holy all might, That's dreadful" dominatrix facepalmed "WELL WHAT THE HELL DO YOU SUGGEST!" I shouted. I saw Izuku writing something and then a piece of paper appeared in front of me. What about ground zero?. I rubbed out the king explosion murder part and replaced it quickly "The best hero: GROUND ZERO!" I shouted, "Hey that's pretty manly!" Shitty hair complimented "I agree that's a great name!" dominatrix smiled before sending me back to my seat 

The rest of the shitty heads except Deku gave their best attempts while Deku just protectively held the whiteboard. "Izuku, you're up"  She beckoned. He sighed before walking to the top of the class. he placed the whiteboard on the podium "the wounded hero: Kizuato" He said while covering his face "a bit edgy but so is Eraserhead" She muttered before giving him a nod. He returned to his seat with a slight smile. The whole class picked out a name so we were given the rest of the class to do whatever. I just spoke with Deku and Icy-Hot until Rockhead came in

This one was way shorter than normal but the last one was like 4'400 words so
