☂️ ☂️

I WAKE UP TO THE sound of a bell ringing from the hallway. "Good morning children! Time to get up!" My mother, Grace, announces before making her way to the dining room.

Once fully dressed in my uniform I walk out of my room and into the hall where my sister is waiting for me. "Ready?" My sister asks me.

"Good morning to you too, Vanya," I reply sarcastically as we walk down the hall where our siblings are getting into their assigned order in a signal file line as we do every morning.

Once all eight of us are in line we quietly walk downstairs and into the dining room and stand around to our assigned seats at the table.

Once our father, Reginald Hargreaves, walked in the room went silent. The only thing heard was the record player as he stood behind his chair. "Sit." He orders.

We do as told and begin eating. I take a bite of bacon as I look around the table. On my left is Alison who is nonverbally flirting with Luther who is sat across the table.

Sat next to him is Deigo, who is currently carving into the arm of his chair with one of his many knives.

On the other end of the table sit Five, Ben, and Vanya who are quietly eating. Our mother has been giving us proper names one by one. Five and I have yet to get ours for some reason.

I take out my book that Ben had let me borrow only to feel a tap on my left shoulder.

I turn to see Klaus who is discreetly holding out a joint to me from the other side of Alison. I quickly check to see if my father was watching our interaction before leaning over and quickly taking the joint with a smirk before putting it in my pocket.

After having some more breakfast, the loud sound of my father's mission alert in every room went off causing my siblings and I to stand and quickly run to our rooms as we were trained to do.

I crouch down pulling out a case with the academy's logo from under my bed.

Opening the case I pull out my mission uniform and quickly change. Once I finish zipping up my suit I grab my domino mask only to find the number three where there is supposed to be a number zero.

I sigh walking out of my room and down the hall ignoring the ongoing mission alarm before knocking on Alison's bedroom door. "Alison. Mom mixed up the laundry again! Give me my mask!"

"Sorry, what?" Alison asks, walking out of Luther's room as she moves some hair away from her face.

I roll my eyes holding out my hand before repeating "My mask. Mom gave me yours."

"Oh," Alison replies before taking off the mask she was wearing and looking at the number. "I have Klaus's."

"Damn. Here just give me his and take yours," I tell her before trading the masks.

"Come on. Quickly! Don't want to be late... Again." My father says walking into the hall as I walk past him to Klaus's room.

"Klaus! Please tell me you have my mask," I ask him from outside his open door.

"I just gave it to Five," He tells me making me groan in annoyance as I toss his mask to him.

"Fi-!" I start.

"Hey, sorry. I was looking for you, but you weren't in your room," Five tells me before handing me my mask.

"Thank you," I reply softly. He smiles a little before walking away towards the staircase. I make my way to follow him but stop at the sound of violin from Vanya's room. "Sounds beautiful," I compliment her.
