Chapter 19

"Actually he's not all that boring." You give a warm small smile to the boy.

"How nice of you." He said fidgeting with his hands and and looking down at his feet. "But its ok to say the truth you know. You don't have to pretend he's fun to hang with."

You looked at him with a sad smile. "You should play with them." You said looking at the kids his age playing on the field.

"Them? Pff they don't even talk to me in class let alone notice me. Do they even know me?" He said furrowing his eyebrows.

You sigh and pat his shoulder. "Then would you like me to accompany you today?"

He looked at you surprised but eyes sparkling filled with enthusiasm. "W-what do you mean? Are you sure? You wouldn't want to accompany a lonely and weird kid." He said sighing then looking back at his feet.

You chuckle and held his hands. "Sure I will. I want to see if I can handle having a little brother for a day." You said giving him a warm smile.

This made him smile and hug you. "I'm Jaden. Nice to meet you...older sister." He looked up to you and smiled. "I'm Y/N"You said him still in your arms as you hug back.

"Oi Y/N I was looking for you everywhere damned brat. Your fucking cousin didn't even know where you were tch." Levi suddenly appeared in front of you crossing his arms.

"I was looking for you everywhere and you're here hugging a brat." He furrowed his eyebrows.

"What? You want a hug too?" You smirk and both you and Jaden laugh.

"Tch, like hell i am. Why the fuck is he with you hurry up were going home."

"It's still early, besides, I promised to spend time with my little brother today." You said rolling your eyes then furrowing your eyebrows at him placing Jaden on your lap and hugging his waist from behind.

"Never knew you had a brother." Levi said glaring at you.

"I just got one today. And its also gonna last only for today." You said patting Jaden's head and getting him off your lap.

"He's short for a 7th grader."

"Says the guy who's 5'3 and is a older than him."

"Tch. Where are we going?" Levi asked as you three walk side by side looking like a family?

"You're coming with us mister?" Jaden suddenly asked and looked up to Levi.

"Yeah what of it?" Levi said giving him a glare.

"Older sister, is he the one you were talking about?" Jaden suddenly asks making your eyes widen and look directly at Levi.

Levi heard what the little boy said and shot a look back at you with furrowed eyebrows.

"What does this brat mea-"

"Yeah he is." You said cutting Levi off.

"Were not even close to being alike." You hear Jaden mumble beneath his breath.

"What the heck Y/N?" Levi looked at you still with furrowed eyebrows.

You smiled at him embarrassed of the scene that just happened. "Tch" Of course he would say that.

"Where are we?" Jaden asked you and you smiled at him and Levi.

"Answer your brat of a brother" Levi said making your eyes sparkle at the thought that you had a brother for today.

"Are both of you dumb? Were at the park." You said looking at Jaden.

"Why are we here?" Both of them said in unison which made you chuckle.

"What the heck brat?" Levi said looking at the boy.

"Language mister." Jaden said looking at Levi with furrowed eyebrows following his intimidating face and crossed arms.

Looks like this will be an afternoon to handle. You sighed and smiled at the bickering two in front of you.

The three of you finished spending the afternoon together and Jaden already went home safely. He was quite a childish kid for a 7th grader.

You laugh slightly at your thought and this caught Levi's attention.

"Are you mental or something? You've been like that ever since that Jaden brat went home." Levi said as both of you were walking back home.

"Oh shut up midget." You said nudging his elbow which made him angry and looked at you with furrowed eyebrows. "I just had fun today" You finished and sighed as a grin plasters on your face.

Levi calmed down and sighed. "Thats good." He mumbled and a little smirk appeared on his face but soon—fades away.

"AHA! I SAW THAT ACKERMAN!" You gasped which made Levi turned his head to you.

"What?" He said looking at you with his still stoic face.

"Don't 'what?' me Levi. I saw that smirk on your face!" You said grinning at him from ear to ear making you look like a complete copy of Hange when she's being mischievous.

"Tch, I guess you caught me." He surrendered and gave out a smile.

"Heyyy why are you smiling all of a sudden?" You said smiling stopping your walk. Levi stopped and turned to you. He leaned to your level only inches away from each other.

"Thats for me to know and for you to find out soon." He said quickly kissing your forehead before flicking it with his fingers. "But I'll be doing this more often. Just—around you that is." He mumbles out the last sentence that you couldn't hear it.

He starts to walk away as you were still standing on the same place on the side walk still in a daze after Levi's sudden actions froze you looking like a statue.

You start to lose sight of the man who made you this way and run towards your house. "LEVI FUCKING ACKERMAN WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT YOU—YOU SHITFACE!" You shouted across your block to get Levi's attention.

He turned to you and gave you a 'wtf ' face. You gave him a 'wtf' face back. "HAAHHH WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU CALL ME?!" He shouted back.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT DAMNED BRAT." He shouted from across the street slamming his door but not loud enough to wake the neighbours. But your voices were enough to wake half of the town up.

You sigh in defeat and get into your house to be met by your father looking at you with shimmering eyes.

"Wha-"

"Theres an art exhibition down town this weekend. Wanna come with?" Your loving dad said to you excitedly. Come to think of it its been a long time since you painted it drew something.

"Yeah sure dad!" Your smile widens from ear to ear and you run up to your room and get ready for tomorrows class with a grin on your face.

"Yes!" You gasp as inspiration hit you giving you ideas of what you want to make.

"Why'd you have to come tonight?? I'm too tired for thisss arghhh." you groan as the ideas keep coming after your dad excite you with the art exhibition.
