Chapter 16

"I'm not hungry." You said pushing the spoon handed to you by Armin.  You rejected the poor spoon (smh could've been a potential lover)

"Eat" I heard someone slam the cafeteria's table. The one me, Jean, Petra, and Armin were sitting at.

"What brings you here Levi?" Petra asked Levi. I looked at him too. Curious of his answer.

"I'm here for lunch what else."

"You were never good with excuses Levi." you shake your head with your palm in your face.

Armin and the other two laughed while Levi remained unfazed. That's new. He would usually throw a fit by now.

"You're gonna eat or not?" Jean said poking your cheek gesturing you to open your mouth and put some food in your damn stomach.

"make me." you rolled your eyes at him.

"You sure? you wouldn't know what I'd do to you for you to—" Jean was cut off because of Armin and Levi's glares.

"I'll treat you somewhere this weekend." Jean replaced his sentence.

"Really? you sure?"

"Yeah." Jean smiled.

"No takebacks?" you furrowed your eyebrows and look at him straight in the eyes.

"Y-yeah—shit just eat the food." Jean ran his hand through his hair.

"Fine fine." You took the spoon of food out of Armin's hand and ate the food.

"Satisfied?" You said sarcastically.

Everyone nodded and Levi replied. "No."

"Wha—"

"Shove shit in your mouth that's not gonna fill your stomach brat." Levi said sitting beside you and took the spoon from your hand.

He took some food and fed you. Everybody's eyes widen while Armin with his protective brother personality just looked at both of you with an angry and annoyed? face.

"Sheesh I can feed myself Levi." you took the spoon back.

"Soooo—have you heard of the talent show two weeks from now?" Petra ended the awkward conversation and started a new one. I was thankful for that. really.

"Yeah what about it?" Jean replied.

"The art club members are the ones hosting it." Armin spoke giving me the food. Levi stayed quiet.

"Any of you wanna join?" I asked them.

"I have the gardening club." Petra said sadly.

"Probably. I have some talents up my sleeve." Jean said looking at me with a smirk. Seriously, he's a great friend and all but—seriously?

"I have science club. Were busy this month." Armin said looking at me with sad eyes. I gave him a smile to reassure him that it's ok.

"What about you Levi?" I said finishing up my food.

"No."

"Why not?"

"Tch, shut up." He said taking the empty plate I have and taking it away.

Petra looked at me and smiled. I felt a little uncomfortable but it was fine. She didn't mean any harm.

"You should join Levi" you suggested wanting him to join.
