"Haha. Very funny Jean. No." You seriously said to Jean over the phone.

"Seriously?!" He groaned. "Come on Y/N just this once. I promise I'll make you change your mind"

"What do you mean change my mind?" You were confused at what Jean was referring to.

"I'll take you out. Just once" He started. "I'll make you happier than that midget. I'll make you change your mind. Just give me a chance."

"Jean, I'm sorry I said no. I'm not interested."

"Is this because you actually like him or because he told you to go out with him because he won." You were at a loss of words.

"So what if it is?"

"You hesitated to answer me....Is there something else behind you answering him? Do you like him?" You felt something catch your breathe. You were unable to answer him.

"I'll take your silence as a yes" Jean said sounding defeated.

"Whether or not I like him is not for you to determine Jean. A no is a no. Please respect my decision...Were still friends so don't get so down hearted." You retorted and hang up.

You sigh, "I just came back from that date with Levi and Jean suddenly spams text messages to me. What a hectic day has it been"

You scroll through social media as you got a text message from your dear friend Mikasa.

(M-mikasa, Y-you)

M- Tf is wrong with this midget.

Y- Whats wrong? •_•

M- He came home looking so out of it. Is he high or something?💀

Y- How should ik ask him (/-_-)/

M- He just fell off the bed.

Y- AHAHAHAHAHA WTH DID HE PASS OUT? 😭

M- Nah he's ok

Y- okay thats good

M- I think

Y- WTH MIKASA

M- yeah yeah you definitely did a number on him. 💀

Y- No i didn't. And how do you know I was with him 😀

M- Were neighbours, He's my cousin, You're my best friend. How should I not know?🙄

You groan as you bury your head into you pillow. You throw your phone to your side beginning to drift into slumber.

"I'll be back by 5 pm dad don't worry" You said as you kissed your dad's cheek bidding him good bye. This was a little weird especially since you were just going to Levi, your neighbours house. Basically just a street across your house.

"How could I not worry that's a guy's house

"Dad, Mikasa, my best friend, is there. And she's a girl so don't worry."

Your dad sighed and hugged you cupping your face in his hands. "Oh well, You are growing child of mine. I'll respect your decisions then. Just be careful and be back home safe. I'll be here waiting for you." He kissed your forehead.

You smile at his warm gesture as you started to walk towards Levi's house.

You press the doorbell hearing it ring from the inside of the house. You await for an answer on the door with the thought of Levi opening it but instead you were greeted by a Mikasa who was looking still sleepy as hell.
