Chapter III

"Eat this you gluttonous pigs!" You shouted as you swing your blade to slice the titan's nape with force.

Blood stain splatters in your face but it vanishes later on. The titan falls in the ground, and you run towards where your horse is. Captain Levi is just watching the scenario. Honestly, he's been watching the whole show. Whenever there's a titan, he will ask you to take them down by yourself and he's just there, observing how you fight for your life.

He's that concern for your life.

"Too slow," He stated in a cold tone, "Come on. We have to check the holes."

You sigh and give him a smile, "Aren't you proud of me, Captain?" You asked teasingly while wiggling your eyebrow.

"Tsk." He, then, turns around and ignore you again as his horse starts running away.

Alright, maybe he's proud of me but he's too shy to admit it. Aww.

You follow his paths while staring at him from behind. Of course, you are also observing your surrounding but staring at Captain Levi is the main priority.

"There's no hole at all," You stated while checking the wall. Captain Levi is beside you, riding in his horse, "That's weird. There are some titans along the way. Where did they enter?"

He stayed silent while observing the place.

"Captain, I think we need to go back to the our training base."

He look at you for a moment, "No."

You smiled in confusion and look back at him, "No? Do we have to do something here, Captain?"

He turns around, again, as he ignores your question. You are about to ask him for the second time when a droplet of water falls in your forehead. You blink and look in your palm where a lot of droplets are pouring.

Oh god, don't tell me—

"Captain, it's raining and there are mist in the way back to our base. Where should we stay?" You asked as your horse walk beside him.

Despite of the continuous heavy rain, you can clearly see his jaw tightened. He looks hot in his wet hair, and he always looks hot, but at this very moment, it seems like he hates raining and mist.

"Brat," He calls you and you stare at him waiting for his next words, "Follow me."

You giggle, "I will, Captain—"

"Don't get away from where I am. Stay close." He stated in a firm tone as his horse starts running and you just follow him.
