Four Years Later

It's been four years. Four years have passed and you manage to gain the Marley's trust. At this moment, you are wearing a Marleyan uniform while walking in the peaceful street of Marley. They're not different from Eldians at all.

They're all humans who wants to live in happiness and peace.

That's why you can't fully hate the Marleyans despite of them doing things that kills the Eldian people

In the past four years, you've been working hard to prove that you are trustworthy— without giving off information about Eldian people. Thankfully, it's been fruitful.

In the past four years, you've been observing and planning ways create a difference that can help the people of Paradis.

In the past four years, he never leaves your mind.

There are times when you think of it, your memories with him makes you more courageous to continue living. You misses him a lot. You want to hug him, kiss him and rail— you want to see him.

You continued walking and you are seeing a lot of food at the street. They look delicious but you don't have the appetite to taste them. After all, there's only one food that you love tasting the most.

You nodded, "Sure. What is it?"

"Tomorrow there's a fest with the Marleyan warriors, can you be my partner? I mean, we can be partners." Galliard stated while looking at you.

You don't know if he's genuine or not but you answered, "If my presence is mandatory, then I'll accept your offer."

Galliard smile as he nodded, "I'll wait for you then."

You give him a smile as he starts walking away.

A fest, huh?

As you are walking in the street filled with crowds, your heart starts beating faster for some unknown reason.

Shit.

You don't know why but your feet stopped on their pace as you stand in the midst of the crowd. Unknowingly, your eyes explored around you, looking for something, searching for someone, as you're breathing in anticipation. Your heart wants to explode inside you and it feels really weird.
