Chapter XVII

"You broke your promise, now take responsibility for the consequences of your action.

He's here.

He's finally here.

"Levi." You whispered those word as his hug tightened from your back.

You hold his hands tight as you close your eyes while feeling his warmth. His warmness that you've been waiting for.

"I know you're alive," He whispered.

"H-How did—"

Before you can continue your words, Levi holds your hands tight and starts dragging you towards the dark part of the place.

"W-Where are we going?"

"Follow my lead, brat." He replied as he drags you towards an underground tunnel.

It's dark and silent but you know that Levi is in your side, that's why you're not afraid at all. His hands are perfectly fitted in yours and that is enough to make you feel at ease.

He stopped walking when you're at the middle of the tunnel. It's dark and you can barely see his face but it's fine as long as you're with him.

"I finally found you." Levi started in a serious tone.

Your heart is beating fast as every seconds passed by. You missed him a lot.

"Captain, how did you know that I'm alive?" You asked in a mere confusion.

"I didn't, but I know you won't disobey my rules. I told you to survive, didn't I?" He replied.

His presence never changes. You can still feel how his entire existence affects your "simp" system. Captain Levi never fails to amuse you.

"I don't know what to say," You whispered back.

"Five minutes."

"W-what?"

"I'll give you five minutes to explain everything. After that, we'll talk more seriously." He whispered in a low tone and it makes you tingle.

Why does he sounds seductive?

"But Captain—"

"The clock is ticking, (Y/N)."

You breath heavily and started talking, "Zeke the monkey didn't kill me because I'm one of them. I'm a Marleyan based on him and I didn't really know anything about it since I can't bring my memories back. I'm a traitor in the first place and I honestly don't deserve to talk to you at this very moment but you make my heart beats fast and I'm turning insane because of you, Captain."
