Chapter IV

"Your body is too tensed up," The sexy and baritone voice whispered behind you which makes your body even more tense, "Calm down, brat."

How can I when you're just behind me?

The horse starts running and because of its speed, you accidentally lean towards Levi's chest making your eyes widened. The both of you are dripping wet due to the rain but upon touching him, it feels warm.

"Tss." He whispered and your eyes widened in embarrassment. You immediately move forward to avoid touching him.

"I'm sorry, Captain, I didn't mean it." You breath deeply as the horse is still running. The mist is blinding and all you know is that you are with Captain Levi at this very moment.

"We have to stay in an abandoned shelter for a night." Levi stated in his usual tone and you nodded.

"I see, it is indeed dangerous to roam around a place like this with the current weather." You look at the surrounding, "But where do we stay, Captain?"

He didn't replied but you know you can trust his decisions with all your heart.

"What is this place?"

You went down from the horse as you look at the comfortable cabin. It is made up of woods and it looks really warm inside. It seems safe and the location of the cabin is quiet hidden from the field filled with titans.

"This place used to be a secret base." Levi stated as he tie the horse in a tree. He step inside the cabin. You follow him and your mouth parted when you realized how the interior of the shelter looks like.

The place is quiet spacious inside. There are no appliances or anything aside from a wooden chest. It's a plain wooden cabin but being inside makes you feel warm.

Captain Levi walks toward the chest and get something inside it. He pull out a thick blanket and look at you with his emotionless eyes.

You gulp, "Uh, I think I need to go out—"

He stands up and look at you before he lend the blanket. Your heart starts beating fast when you look at him.

Is he concern?

"Stop blushing. Dry yourself up and take a rest." Levi stated before he turn around and went out of the cabin.

It's still raining but he's probably going to guard the cabin from the titans.

You are shaking from the coldness and you know Captain Levi feels cold as well so you left the blanket and went to where he is.
