Chapter V

You are able to accomplish your mission and confirm that there are no holes in the southern part of Wall Rose. After almost a day of expedition, the both of you are able to go back to the camp safely.

After that day, you go back to the usual "annoy Captain Ackerman" stuffs. Every morning, you will bring him some tea. Every lunch, you will eat with him. In dinner, you are busy with something so you can't annoy him. It's really good to spend your day with some memories of Levi.

It's been weeks and your feelings for Captain just got deeper. You know you should stop your emotions since Levi has his own priorities and you'll never be a part of it, but you can't.

After all, you are not hoping for a reciprocation— he's not oblique to reciprocate your feelings. As long as you can be by his side, it's enough.

You are currently at the top of the wall as you stare at the radiant orange sky. For an unknown reason, your head starts getting dizzy.

"Fulfill your mission, (Y/N). We know you can do that."

You open your eyes and chase for breath. Your head is throbbing and your grip on your uniform is tight. You can hear those words at the back of your head and you don't know where those voices came from.

Is it perhaps because of fatigue?

You shook your head and calm yourself for a moment. After a while, you get down from the wall. You badly want to take a rest, and you want to visit your house in Wall Rose. It actually your parent's house, but then, they're now dead for some reason.

As you are walking silently, the image of Levi plastered in your mind. Because you can't help it anymore, you walk towards the base and search for him but before you can search for Captain Levi, someone called you.

Oh, it's Akihiko the drummer— I mean, Reiner.

"Do you have some spare time?" Reiner asked and you nodded.

"What's the matter? Is there something wrong?" You asked back as you follow him. He walk inside a room and as you observe the place, it is too silent. It's as if Reiner needs to tell you something important.

He looks really serious and it bothers you a lot.

"Reiner, are you going to tell me something?"

Reiner breath deeply as he look in your eyes with seriousness, "Tell me about your childhood experiences."

You blink in confusion, "What? Why do you need to hear those? I mean, when I'm a child, I usually—" You stopped talking.

Come to think of it, what do I usually do when I was young?
