"Guys, I'm gonna call Kels and check on Alli real quick," I report as Alan's pulls up to Friday's. Alan pats my shoulder, "We'll wait inside bro."

(K-Kelsey, C-Caleb)

K-Hey Caleb.

C-Hey babe. Is Alli doing okay?

K-Yeah, she good. The doctor said she should wake up within the next three hours.

C-Awesome! That's awesome!

K-Yeah. So where're you?

C-At Friday's with Gavin Degraw.

K-Gavin Degraw?!

C-Yeah. We met him at the bowling alley.

K-That's awesome.

C-Yeah. Well, I gotta go babe. I should be there soon.

K-Okay. Love you be careful.

C-Love you too.

I slip my phone into my jacket pocket, and walk inside Friday's. They're already seated at a table. I take the empty seat next to Gavin.

"How is she?" Chad asks. I nod, "She's good. Kels said the doctor said she should wake up in abor three hours." Joey claps, "That's awesome!" I sigh, "Yeah, but she'll be in therapy for a few months."

Gavin looks at me, "What's going on, Caleb?" I sigh, "My sister's in the hospital. She overdosed on some drugs and tried to kill herself." He claps his hand onto my shoulder, "Im sorry." I shrug, "You couldn't have prevented it. It was all because of stupid haters."

We order our food, and discuss several things. "Maybe we could go on tour together," Gavin suggests. Alan nods, "Sounds awesome!" Chad grins in agreement, "Yes! That would be awesome!" Gavin laughs, "I'll talk to my manager about it."

We all finish our dinner, and Alan drops us all off at our houses, except for Gavin and I. He lets Gavin out at the bowling alley so he can get his car, and go home. He leaves me at the hospital.

"I'll be praying Caleb. Call me if you need anything," Alan says. I smile as we 'bro hug', "Thanks Al. I will." I walk inside, and the receptionist waves me on.

I ride the elevator back up to Alli's room. I greet Kelsey and Charis with a kiss. "Hey guys," I say. They each put one arm around me. "Hey bub, how was your evening?" Charis asks. I grin, "Dope bro." Kelsey giggles, "Glad you had fun babe."

"You girls get on home now!" I exclaim, using a country accent. Kelsey and Charis leave, and I sit back down next to Alli.

As soon as I'm seated, a nurse rushes into the room. "She's waking up," the nurse informs me. I watch intently as Alli's pale brown eyes open.

"Caleb?" She asks weakly. I nod, "Yeah Alli, I'm here don't worry. I'm not going anywhere." She smiles slightly, but doesn't say anything. The nurse attends to a few things here, and there. Then she leaves again.

"They're going to put you into therapy," I tell her. She nods, "I figured they would. I did this to myself though." I lean over and kiss her forehead, "I love you kiddo." She nods, and rolls over in her hospital bed.

I get my phone out and call Scott, Micah, Mom, Dad, and Charis. They all agree to meet me here tomorrow morning.

A doctor comes in, and he talks to me. "Allison is going to have to go to therapy, you know?" I nod, "Yes sir. I was prepared for that." He sighs, "She shouldn't be there for too long. Maybe two months." I nod again. "She should start in two days," he concludes and leaves.

I call Alan, Chad, Joey, Gavin, and Kelsey too, just to let them know. Kels is coming with the family tomorrow.

I put my phone away and turn to Alli. She's laying awake. "Al, I just wanna tell you. You're beautiful, don't let the haters tell you otherwise. God made you in his image, so you're beautiful. Enough said," I tell her. She smiles, "Thanks Caleb. You're the best." I nod, "I always knew I was." She sighs, "Don't get a big head or anything."

~*~

"Caleb! Alli! So glad to see you!" Mom exclaims, hugging both of us. Alli smiles a bit, "Hey guys." Scott and Micah rush over to her.

"Hey beautiful," Scott says, kissing her forehead. Micah proceeds to do the same, "So glad to see you."

Dad walk over to her, "Hey Alli." She smiles, "Hey poppa." He hugs her, and allows Charis and Kelsey to do the same.

"I go into therapy tomorrow," Alli says. Everybody frowns, including me. "Don't worry, I should be out in two months," she adds, "But I'm not sure."

Mom and Dad nod, "We'll miss you like crazy Alli." She sighs, "I'll miss you guys too."

The doctor comes in, "She needs to go home, and pack up everything she'll need while in therapy. She is allowed to bring a cell phone, but use of it will be restricted." Alli nods, "Somebody wanna drive me home." I raise my hand, "I will!"

We walk hand in hand to my car. "Thanks for sticking with me," she whispers. I grin, "Besties for the resties, right?" She laughs, "I'm gonna miss you so much!" I nod in agreement, "You too Allison Mary."
