Chapter 17

Alli's POV

"Miss Grimm, you're leaving today, right?" Somebody asks. I nod, "Yeah, I'm so excited. I get to see my family again."

I pull out my phone, which I'm allowed to use, and call Caleb, making sure he's still coming to get me. He agrees to be here in about twenty minutes.

I walk and pack all my stuff up. It feels different to be leaving this place. I've been here for the past two months. I never had a drug problem, but I used them as a way to escape my pain. I doubt any haters will ever get to me again. I feel better.

Soon, I'm called down to the lobby. I get there, and see Caleb waiting. I drop my bags, and run into his arms. He lifts me up. "I missed you so much!" I exclaim, taking in everything about him. He smiles, "I missed you too dork."

He signs me out, and together we walk outside to his car. I see Alan, Chad, and Joey waiting. "Oh my gosh!" I scream like a fangirl.

I run over to them. First, I hug Alan. "How's life going?" He asks. I shrug, "Good." He smiles, and hugs me again.

"Chaddy!" I exclaim, as he buries me in a bear hug. "Alli! Yay!" He exclaims, laughing. I smile, "I missed your sense of humor most of all."

Joey hugs me for so long, I don't think he's ever gonna let me go. "Joe, I think I'd like to breathe," I whispers. He grins, "Sorry, love, I just missed you so much." I smile, "I missed you too."

We drive to my apartment. I see my family waiting, along with Fallon, Brycie, and the girls. In her arms, she rocks a little baby.

"Awh, Rowe's been born and you didn't tell me?!" I ask punching Alan's shoulder. He shrugs, "You never asked."

I greet everybody, including new baby Rowe Darling. "I missed you guys so much," I finally say. Dad smiles, "We missed you too. I prayed for you everyday."

I smile, as everybody sits down, and we all just start getting reacquainted.

"I'm bored," AJ whines. I smile, "You girlies know where the toys are. Go play!" They giggle and run into the other room.

"Alli Girl, would you like to hold Rowe?" Alan asks, extending his arms towards me. I grin, and take the baby from his arms. I look down at her, and smile. "Alan, Brycie, she's beautiful," I whisper.

Alan nods, and we talk a bit more catching me up. "So what did I miss in your life?" I ask Scott and Micah. Scott shrugs, "We've all been hanging out in Nashville."

"Oooh! I know something you missed!" Chad exclaims raising his hand eagerly. I grin, "Yes Chad, what did I miss?" He begins telling a story about a bro battle him and Joey had over who like green more.

"That's nothing new. You do that all the time," I comment. He folds his arms across his chest, "It was different this time. I won." I laugh again, "Wow, twist ending."

"Imma order a cheese-less pizza!" Joey exclaims. Fallon laughs, "Order one with cheese for the rest of us!" Joey nods, "Aye aye cap'n!"

A half hour later, a pizza guy shows up with like five pizzas. "Chad! Spot me ten bucks?" Joey asks. Chad shakes his head, "No." I pull a ten out and pass it to Joe.

"Yay! Thanks Alli!" He exclaims. I laugh, "No problemo bro." We all eat our pizza, still laughing, and just talking.

"Well, we better get back to our hotel," Mom says, standing up. "Yeah, love you Alli. See you tomorrow," Micah says. I hug my parents, and my brothers as they leave.

"I'm gonna take my girls home, bye Alli Girl," Alan says hugging me. I smile, and hug him back, "Bye Al. See you tomorrow." I hug Brycie, AJ, and Presley too.

I flick on Meet The Robinsons, and those of us left here watch that movie. "Alli, do you have any cookies?" Caleb asks. I nod, "Yeah, in the pantry, on the second shelf."

Caleb brings the cookie box over, and we eat them and watch our movie.

"I'm gonna go home. I don't wanna be with you dorks anymore," Chad says standing up. I nod, "Bye Chaddy! Love you." He smiles and hugs me, "See you soon, kid." I hug Fallon too, "Bye guys!" I exclaim, as they walk out the door.

It's just me, Caleb, Kelsey, Charis, and Joey. "Do you want me to stay the night with you, sis?" Charis asks. I nod, "Would you?" She grins, "Of course girlie! I'd be glad."

Joey comes over and wraps his arms around me in a huge hug. "Bye Alli. So glad you're back," he says. I grin, "Me too, Joe. Bye." He kisses the top of my head and leaves.

Caleb and Kelsey decide to go home and check on Romo. "I'll call you two in the morning," Caleb says, wagging a finger, "Be good." I giggle, "You gotta protect us, don't ya?"

"The correct term is have to. And the answer is yes," Caleb answers. I laugh, "That's one thing I didn't miss while in therapy." He smirks, "Hey! Be nice!" I grin, "Bye big bro." He smiles, "Bye little sis."
