"Caleb, wait up!" I call to my older brother. "Hurry up, slowpoke," he says, slowing down slightly. I run to catch up then jump on his back. "Alli, get off," he groans. "Please!" I beg, knowing he'll say yes. "Fine, but only for a bit," he says giving in. Caleb walks for about ten minutes. "Okay, this taxi's outta gas." He points to himself with his thumbs. I jump off his back and race towards YC Records for the band meeting.

Yeah, my brother's in a band. Everybody thinks it's the best thing in the world. I'll admit, I like it, but it's not what everybody thinks it is. I beat Caleb there, obviously, and race inside. "Hey Al, where's Caleb?" Chad asks, hugging me tightly. "He's coming," I say breathlessly. "He better hurry or he'll be late," Alan says, checking his watch. "He's always late. Whats new?" I ask, hugging him. Alan smiles, and embraces me for a second. "Yo Joe," I exclaim sitting next to him on the couch. "Hey girl! What up?" I lean over and lay on his shoulder, and he puts his arm around me. I love these guys, they're honestly like brothers to me!

About ten minutes later, my older brother comes through the door. "You're late," Alan bluntly points out, staring at his phone. "You can blame Allison for that," he says pointing at me. We all smile.

"Alright, kids, lets get this meeting started," Alan says. Caleb opens with prayer, then they begin discussing band stuff. I fish my iPod out of my bag, and put in my headphones. I love coming to the band meetings, I just feel kind of uncomfortable listening to them discuss band stuff. I listen to song after song, some even by Anthem Lights. The band meeting is still going on, I decide to just go to sleep since I'm tired.

I'm soon awoken, by being shaken. I look up at my brother. "Going to Chick-Fil-A, wanna come?"

"Is that even a question?" I ask, jumping up, and grabbing my bag. Caleb smiles, then follows me outside. Alan, Chad, and Joey are waiting by the van. Caleb hops in the back, and I get the front seat.

"Aw, Alan, you said I could sit shotgun," Chad whines. "Sorry dude, but Alli Girl wins," he says smiling. The band talk continues all the way there.

"Book a show in Ohio!" Joey exclaims. "No, Florida!" Chad says arguing with him. "Kids, behave in public!" Alan scolds, putting the car in park.
