A/N
I had a snow day today, so I just wrote a ton. Enjoy!Alli's POV
"Daddy! I'm hungry!" Presley exclaims. "Hmmmm. Want some Chick-Fil-A, baby girl?" Alan asks her. Brycie, who is nearby, rolls her eyes, "Alan, they don't always want that."
Presley's eyes get big, as she nods, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Alan turns to Brycie, "You were saying?" She sighs in defeat, "Alan, she's definitely your daughter."
"I'm making a Chick-Fil-A run," Alan says, grabbing his keys from the coffee table, "Anybody wanna come?"
I jump up, "I'll go!" Alan grins, "Okay! Come on Alli Girl, let's go before they close."
On my way out, I stop to kiss my boyfriend, and my brother. "Be back soon. Love you guys." They smile, "Be careful. Love you too."
Alan and I get into his car, and he begins driving to the nearest Chick-Fil-A.
"So are you and Joey a 'thing'?" He asks, wiggling his eyebrows up and down. I squirm in discomfort, "Ew, stop with the eyebrows dork!" Alan stops, and smirks, "Are you?" I nod, "Yeah, I guess we are."
He smiles, "You kids are growing up so fast! It seems like just yesterday we were all having pillow fights." I giggle, "Alan! We had a pillow fight earlier." He rolls his eyes, "Sure we did, Allison."
He pulls up to the drivethru and orders several chicken sandwiches, and several boxes of nuggets. We get tons of waffle fries too.
"Do you think all this food will make it back?" I ask him. He shrugs, "Probably not, but we can tell them we made an effort."
"Alan, can I ask you something?" I blurt out, after we have all our food. He nods, "You know you can ask me anything! What is it?"
"Uh, will the hate you guys, especially Joey, get ever end?" I ask nervously. I can tell Alan is really thinking about how to answer this one. He eventually nods, "I'd like to think it would, but the sad truth is the opposite. We'll probably always get hate, but it's the devil trying to tear us down. As a band, and men of God, we have to be strong. At least, we're doing what God wants us too."
I nod, realizing the truth, "That's too bad, you guys don't deserve it." Alan just nods in agreement.
Anthem Lights doesn't deserve this hate, yet they get it. There are some other celebrities who probably deserve it, but they're held at the highest respect. Just remember, Alli, God will get them through this.
We pull up to Chad's house, and I help him carry the food inside. "I sure hope we got enough," Alan mumbles, opening the door.
We set the food on the counter, and everybody rushes into the kitchen. "Yay! I'm so happy right now!" Chad exclaims, at the sight of food. We all grab our different choices and chow down.
"You all owe me for what's in your mouthes," Alan says. Chad spits his chicken sandwich into the wrapper, "I don't have anything in my mouth."
All us girls cringe in disgust, as he proceeds to put the bite back into his mouth.
"Ew your so gross!" Charis exclaims, hiding her eyes. "Why Chad why?" Fallon asks setting her sandwich down. "I suddenly don't have an appetite anymore," Kelsey cringes.
"Guys, man up!" Caleb says. I turn to look at him, "So that wasn't gross at all?" He nods, "Okay, Chadwick, that was pretty disgusting!"
"Why do you guys always pick on me?" Chad cries. "Man up, princess," Joey whispers. Chad sits up, "What did you call me, punk?" Joey smirks, "You heard me Princess Chadwick!"
Seconds later, we're pulling the two of them apart. "And what did we learn, kids?" Alan asks them.
"Don't call Chad by two names he hates?" Joey asks. Alan nods, "Yes, that's a valuable lesson. Chaddy, what did you learn?"
Chad smiles, "I learned that you shouldn't try to bend Joey's arm in a way arms don't bend."
"Okay then, enough fun for one night," Alan says, "I think we should all go to bed."
Everybody quickly agrees. It is getting late. We all get our pillows and blankets, and toss them on the living room floor. Using the bathroom in shifts, finally everybody is in pajamas.
I find my blanket. Joey on my left, and Charis on my right, this night should be fun.
"Okay, get comfy! I'm turning the lights off!" Chad exclaims. We all fumble around, finally getting comfortable.
Giggling and whispering commences, and lasts about an hour. It would've lasted longer, if Alan hadn't stepped in.
Joey laces our fingers together. "Good night, love, see you in the morning." I smile, "I love you." The last thing I hear before my eyes flutter shut is Joey whispering, "I love you more."
