Heya!

Another chapter only eight days after the last one? Actually having a plan for her writing? Who is she? (or maybe they, or he, pronouns are confusing)

Anyways

Important! (I think?)
This is a follow up from the last chapter (First Meetings and Consolations). I'm planning on writing more chapters for this, and once I've finished the next couple I think I'm going to give it it's own book? We'll see what happens.

Don't worry, I'll still be updating this book when I can, and when I have any ideas.

I've made a vague plan in my head for what's going to happen in the story but if you have any ideas then please put them in a comment (please)

I'm going back to school in a couple weeks, so I'll probably have less time then, but I'll still write as much as I can.

I'm rambling now but I hope you enjoy the chapter! Hope you have a good day/night/whatever and I'll see ya round! :D - cornflakecat

Two days later...

Andy Smith groans as they blink slowly and half open their eyes, the first streams of light flowing through the gap in the curtains.

What day is it again? Oh, yeah, Sunday, that's right. No work today. Plenty of time left to procrastinate before going to the O'Brien's house.

They roll over, misjudging how close they had been to the edge of the bed, and fall straight onto the floor with a thud.

"Ow."

As they sit in the kitchen eating breakfast later that morning, they think back to what had happened two nights ago.

Their thoughts beginning to overwhelm them, the feeling of the tears beginning to run down their face, and then the voice. The gentle voice of the new girl living next door, the voice that calmed them down and bothered to make sure that they were alright. The voice that they had then spent an hour and a half talking to.

Yaz seemed like a really lovely person. Maybe they should go and visit her today?

But what if she had work? What if she wasn't in? What if she didn't want to speak to them? Maybe they should wait. But then maybe they shouldn't?

"Ugh! Why are social interactions so confusing!" they complain around their last mouthful of toast.

They stand up suddenly before searching through the cupboards for a mixing bowl. They like to bake when they feel stressed, to help calm them down (which meant they ended up baking an awful lot). It also meant that their friends and neighbors often opened their door to find a small Tupperware box with Andy's latest creation inside (which they definitely didn't see as a bad thing).

Today the mix of flour, sugar and butter ended up as chocolate chip muffins. They can take some to give to Ryan and his grandparents when they see them later. And then maybe they could give some to Yaz, as a thank you? Had they already said thank you too much at the time? Was there a certain amount of times you were allowed to say thank you? How long was it before it came annoying?

Come on, stop it, it's just muffins, she couldn't hate you for it or anything like that.

They take a tub from the cupboard and put a muffin in it before they can change their mind, then hastily scribble some hopefully readable words on a post it note and stick it on top. They take a deep breath before opening their apartment door and entering the landing, hoping that there's no one there that they would have to talk to (fortunately there isn't). Andy places the box down then knocks on Yaz's door before running back into the safety of their own home.
