So apparently I've started naming my stories after lines in songs. (Edit: the song is Little Talks by Of Monsters And Men)

This is just a short one that I wrote in about 15 minutes, and I haven't edited it at all, so It's probably not very good.

This is set when 13 is in Judoon Prison, and It's really sad. All hurt and no comfort people!

Hope you like this :D - cornflakecat

The screams all sound the same.

They play over and over and over in her head like a song on repeat, constantly haunting her, reminding her of what she's done.

At first she could tell them all apart; who the voices belonged to, what she had done to hurt them in some way or another.

But now, after all this time, they had merged together. They were just ways for the Doctor to unconsciously torcher herself.

She couldn't get away from it. The pain.

The memories.

Before it had been easier. All of time and space at your fingertips was a good enough distraction.

She couldn't run anymore. She couldn't run from the truth.

The screams all sound the same. All full pain and misery and despair and hopelessness.

This was what she deserved. A life's sentence of grief.

The screams all sound the same.
