It's been a month since Jaylen and I have started dating. We already told all of our friends about us (Not that it's a lot it's only Evie, Leo, Isaac, Dennis, and our families). Jaylen isn't really ready to come out to everybody else yet which I'm totally fine with. We have been on a total of five dates now. The first date that we went on was so perfect. It wasn't this whole big cheesy, romantic, fancy dinner date, thank God. I am definitely not a fan of fancy and romantic things. We went to a small diner here called "Lupstra Cakes". I know it says cakes but it's not really a cake place. We ate there then we went out of town and went to an abandoned skate park and spray-panted a whole bunch. Don't worry it was all legal.
We are now going to a skate park so I can teach him how to skate. We're taking two cars, one has Leo, Evie (Who have announced that they are now dating. Who didn't see that one coming?), Dennis, and Isaac. The other car (the one that I am driving) has me and Weylin, Jaylen and Sam are about to come get in the car. "Hey, babe" Jaylen greeted me with a kiss as he got in the passenger seat in the front of my car. Sam climbed in the back next to Weylin while I drove.
"Hey you must be Sam, I'm Weylin." Weylin said confidently and smoothly. "Hey, nice to meet you." Sam said awkwardly. "So do know how to skate?" Weylin asked Sam. "Uh, no I've never tried it." Sam admitted. "That's fine I can teach you. I can teach you a lot of things actually" Weylin said with a suggestive tone. I snorted at what he said while Sam just blushed and looked down at his lap. We were all silent for a minute when my phone pinged. We were at a red light so I looked at the message which was from Weylin.
Weylin-
He's cute, should I go for it?
I showed the message to Jaylen for confirmation. Which just nodded his head yes in response to.
Me-
Go for it, but maybe get to know him a bit better than just the few words he has said
Weylin-
Okay, thanks!
We arrived at the skate park about fifteen minutes later and unloaded all the skateboards then went and met up with the others. Weylin immediately dragged Sam to a different section of the park, away from the rest of us so that he could teach Sam how to skate. "So who here actually knows how to skate" Isaac questioned the group. Evie, Isaac, and I were the only ones to raise our hands. "Well, this works out perfectly. Isaac, you can teach Dennis, Evie you can teach Leo, and I can teach Jaylen." I Jaylen I proposed. "Sounds good to me." Dennis said with a smile, already dragging Isaac away.
"I bet ten bucks that they'll just make out or something the whole time and just completely forget the whole learning how to skate part." Leo bet. "I could bet the same thing with you too." Jaylen joked. "Not on my watch. You will be a pro skater by the end of the day." Evie said to Leo with determination, pulling him away. "Okay let's get to learning/teaching." I said, turning towards Jaylen. "Oh, so we're gonna have a little teacher, student thing now?" Jaylen joked with a smirk, lightly pulling my hips towards him.
"No, I'd rather have a doctor-patient type thing." I deadpanned. "Wait actually?" Jaylen asked since I looked and sounded serious when I said that. "no you doofus, I was joking." I laughed as I jokingly punched his shoulder lightly. "Ugh, you shouldn't tease people like that Lassy." Jaylen joked with a huff. I decided to ignore the dumb (but cute) nickname that he gave me. "Come on babe I'll teach you to skate now." I said, knowing that he'll be very happy with the pet name. Jaylen is usually the one to call me babe not the other way around so I was correct when that put a huge smile on his face that I couldn't help but smile back at.
About two hours later we were famished so we went down to the local food spot for teens. It wasn't anything much just a small baby blue diner with only about fifteen square tables with some chairs and a bar for milkshakes and other drinks. Our waiter came over right after we sat down, her name tag read Desi. "Oh fuck." I exclaimed. She immediately started glaring daggers at Jaylen. I think Jaylen recognized her because he started glaring right back at her.
"Woah what's going on here?" Isaac asked. "This asshole tried to steal the girl that I have liked forever." Desi said pointing at Jaylen. "And this bitch got her brother and his best friend to beat up Kaylas." Jaylen shot back. "What no I didn't." Desi claimed. "Well they did beat him up, I have a picture of his black eye to prove it." Jaylen growled. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry Kaylas, I didn't know that they did that." Desi told me sincerely. "It's fine, I'm all healed up now." I smiled to try and prove I was alright since she looked to be on the verge of tears.
"By the way Desi, I don't want to be with Jocelyn anymore so you can chill with the whole hating me thing." Jaylen said to her calmly. "Oh, I uh didn't know that." Desi admitted nervously. "Well how about I bring all of you some milkshakes to get you started off. On the house." Desi proposed to try and smooth things over, walking away. "Well, that was awkward." Dennis chimed in so that it was no longer silent. "Well, Sam and I are going on a date on Friday night." Weylin announced to try and change the subject. Sam simply put his head in his hands and blushed as bright as Rudolph's nose in response.
