Sunday
Hyunmi wakes up to the sound of her doorbell.
Who could be knocking for her?
It suddenly hits her that it's Sunday and her students are most likely over. Her blood runs cold as she realises she forgot to set her alarm the night before.
Her eyes shoot open and she suddenly becomes aware of where she is. She's turned away from where Wooyoung was on the bed, but a blush grows on her face at the feeling of arms wrapped around her waist from behind. She feels his body completely stuck to hers from behind.
She gasps at the tightness of his arms and shuffles slightly in his grasp. This only results in Wooyoung nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck, his lips lightly grazing off the back of her shoulder.
When the doorbell rings again, Hyunmi decides to do something about this. As much as she'd love to stay in this position, she carefully pulls Wooyoung's hands off her stomach and moves off the bed. She nearly jumps when Wooyoung suddenly opens his eyes and shuffles back quickly.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to get that close! I must have done it in my sleep, I'm sorry," he hurriedly explains, visibly panicking. Hyunmi smiles to him. "It's alright."
Wooyoung gulps and tries to process everything in his mind that's still waking up. He's very used to waking up beside women on his bed so why is his heart beating so hard at the thought of cuddling Hyunmi from behind? He really was asleep, but only woke up right as Hyunmi started moving.
He wishes he could have consciously hugged her for longer...
He brushes off these thoughts and gets up too.
Hyunmi, on the other hand, doesn't have the luxury to think carefully about what just happened.
She runs to the front door and lets the students in to her living room, telling them to wait fifteen minutes.
Wooyoung perks up on the bed as he watches Hyunmi stressfully pace around the room, shuffling through her clothes frantically and sprinting into the bathroom.
She notices his large, curious eyes and stifles a giggle. How does he look so cute at times?
"My students are here," she simply states in a hushed voice before jumping into her bathroom.
Wooyoung blinks a few times until he remembers that Hyunmi tutors. He lies back down on the bed and pulls his phone to him while waiting for Hyunmi to get out.
A few minutes later, Hyunmi emerges completely freshened up and barely glances at Wooyoung before dashing out of the bedroom.
"I'm sorry about that! Let's get started straight away," she tells the boys, embarrassed that she was late to her own class despite being the teacher.
She teaches them for a while, everyone concentrating intently.
However, a few minutes before the end of the class, Hyunmi freezes at the sound of footsteps coming in the direction of the living room. Please don't tell me Wooyoung forgot, she thinks to herself.
She bites the inside of her cheek as the steps get closer. Her heart drops as the boys lift their heads from their work, also noticing the footsteps.
"You have a roommate now?" one of the students ask. "Mind your own business," she playfully scolds, although she's on the edge of her seat.
"M-Mr. Jung?" one of the boys exclaims.
With her breath held, Hyunmi turns around to the door of her living room and sighs when she sees the stunned Wooyoung standing at the door. "I- Well- I'm sorry, I-" he stutters, unable to form a full sentence.
