The moment Tommy packed a few things into his inventory it was time to go. Dream took him through the nether portal up to the hub connecting to L'manburg. There on the other side was Tubbo, Quackity, Fundy, and a few others. They all seemed to be trying to get a glimpse of Tommy to see how he changed.
The first thing everyone saw was how anxious he seemed. The tall boy's dark blue eyes darted around as if he expected something bad to suddenly happen. He hugged himself, and when Tubbo took a sudden step forward to welcome him the boy flinched backwards. Tommy just made eye contact with Tubbo then his eyes darted back to the ground. Tubbo looked at his old friend sort of shocked to see him in such a bad state. Everyone took notice of how dirty Tommy looked and the poor state of his clothes. Everyone had one thought 'What happened to you Tommy?'
Tommy spoke in a quiet voice, "Can I go home..?", which was odd when you were used to his normal loud voice. Tubbo and everyone tried to process how different the boy was now. Fundy snapped out of it first and made his way to Tommy carefully and led him to his home. Fundy took note how the boy avoided physical contact.
