Chapter 19: Preparing For Battle

I felt the wind touch my body as we flew through the night. The moon lit our way with a thousand stars as tribute to the beautiful night. I held onto Li Zian as he steered through the city. We landed in the beautiful paradise once more.

Kira ran out from the house and tackled me to the ground.

"You got your memories back or do I need to smack your head?" Kira joked.

"I am fine Kira. I just needed some time" I replied standing up. I saw Xing Lin in the door frame. I remember how father told me he didn't exist. How could he not a knowlegde his own son? I won't let my father ruin Xing Lin like he ruined me. I walked over to Xing Lin and hugged him. He was shocked at my actions. Kira and Li Zian stood with their mouths open not knowing what to say.

"I am sorry for everything that has ever happened Xing Lin. I won't let father ever get near you again" I promised hugging him tighter.

I could feel Xing Lin tear up as I spoke. He hugged me back and let the tears flow.

"T-Thank you brother" he responded after a long time. I dried his tears and we all went into the house.

I sat down on the couch. I felt my neck was sore and hurted quite a bit. I touched my neck and felt something under skin. Li Zian saw me inspecting my neck.

"What is it Xing Lei?" Li Zian asked.

"Something is in my neck" I answered.

Li Zian rushed to my side. "What is it?" Xing Lin questioned. Li Zian hit his hand on the arm rest.

"They put a tracker in him" Li Zian stated. Li Zian was very angry at this.

"Relax Li Zian I can get it out easily" I responded and looked at Kira in the kitchen "ay Kira get me a knife, a sharp one!" I shouted at her.

"Sure thing" she replied and came with the knife.

"Are you gonna cut it out?" Xing Lin asked.

"That's the only thing I can do. Hey Li Zian would you do the honors" I stated and gave Li Zian the knife. He took it and found a cloth to take care of the blood.

"It's gonna hurt" Li Zian said and started cutting.

He got it out quickly and wiped away the blood from the wound.

"How are you feeling?" Li Zian asked concerned.

"I am fine Li Zian" I replied.

I stood up from the couch but my legs felt like jelly. I fell down and Li Zian looked at me more concerned than before.

"I am fine Li Zian" I stated while I supported myself with the table. I tried to walk but I felt an excrutiating pain in my heart. I felt to the floor and curled up in pain.

"Xing Lei!" Li Zian shouted and went to pick me up. "Hey what's wrong Xing Lei?"

I couldn't talk all I felt was the pain in my heart. It felt like a million knives had been driven to the center of my heart. My head started to hurt. I fainted from the pain.

I heard the birds outside and felt the sun light penetrate the room. I opened my eyes and looked around. This isn't my room. Where am I? I sat up. This isn't my house either. What is this place. Someone came into the room.

"Xing Lei you are awake!" He seemed happy for me. The man came over and tried to hug me. I ducked down and stood up.

"Who are you?" I asked

"X-Xing Lei it's me Li Zian" the man stated.

"Who is Li Zian?" I questioned. What is this place? Was I kidnapped?
