The clock currently shows 5:30 am and Hyunjin's phone alarm suddenly blare. Being a heavy sleeper he is, he doesn't faze at all. Jisung stirs in his sleep though, weakly curses at the annoying noise.

Once he frees himself from his boyfriend's tight hold, he turns off the alarm, not forgetting to hit the taller's head since he's too wide awake to get back to sleep now.

Getting up, he puts on his clothes and waddles his way toward the washroom. Now that he's no longer feeling sleepy, the idea of morning walk sounds fascinating.

Hyunjin, who somehow can feel the absence of his boyfriend, slowly gains consciousness. His hands try to find his squirrel, wanting to cuddle him to sleep again but to no avail.

"Wake up, sleepyhead!"

His ears mentally twitch at the soothing familiar voice, the sleepy eyelids finally flutter opened.

"What time is it?"

"Almost six."

"What?? Why did you wake up already?? I need my morning cuddles~"

"Ask your phone alarm~" The younger once again hits his lover's head, taking a seat on the bed afterward.

Hyunjin grumbles at the action. Nonetheless, he still places his head on Jisung's lap, leaving sweet small kisses on the latter's clothed tummy.

"Let's take a morning walk. We're in the beach so watching sunrise is a must."

"... right. That's actually the reason why I set the alarm at this time yesterday."

Getting up, he pecks the younger's cheeks, jogging toward the washroom to get rid of sleepiness.

Even though the sun has showed up itself a tad bit, the beach is still empty that it feels like they're hanging around a private beach. Such a wise decision to have a morning walk indeed.

Loving the sensation of walking on the sand, they take off their slippers, walk side by side with hands intertwining and occasionally swinging.

"Let's take a seat there, Hyunnie."

After placing the slippers next to his side, Jisung waits for his lover to hand him some painting tools; they apparently have a summer assignment from their art class.

"The theme is our most memorable moment during summer so... what will you draw?" The squirrel asks.

"Secret~"

The younger just rolls his eyes before letting them wander around the area. Sunrise is such a magnificent view to draw and spending this exact moment with his boyfriend is surely a memorable, precious one; yet somehow it doesn't really give that huge impact on him.

But then his eyes rest on certain ice cream parlor. Almost instantly, sudden flashback hits him. He cannot help but smile at the thought, sweetly and genuinely, and Hyunjin's phone camera perfectly captures the moment.

For almost one hour, they do nothing but draw. Occasion small talk escapes their mouth, but they mainly focus on the task.

They're sitting facing each other, using their knees to prop up the drawing book. Not the best idea for sure, but both pay no mind.

Jisung is the first one to finish. He sighs satisfyingly and closes the huge rectangular item before shifting his eyes to the ocean. He doesn't bother to tidy up the colored pencils since Hyunjin may still need them.

"Just finished!" The taller announces minutes later. "Let's exchange! I wanna see yours!"

They then exchange their drawing book. Eyes widening when they finally see what their other half previously drew.

"Can I have this?" Hyunjin breaks the silence. "You probably can't submit this anyway." He reasons, making Jisung giggle.

"Sure. It's not that good, though."

"It is!!" The taller defends. His heart eyes are admiring two boys that share a kiss on the piece of drawing paper. The setting is clearly inside a café with a cup of ice cream placed on the coffee table. He cannot help but lovingly smile when he finds some neat cursive letters stating 'my first kiss' located in the right corner.

"Why did you draw me?" Jisung asks, pulling Hyunjin out of his thoughts.

"Because I love your smile." He replies then removes the distance between them, sitting next to his lover.

"Your smile always looks stunning. But earlier, it was just... perfect." He then shows his phone wallpaper to the younger.

It's a noise picture of Jisung smiling. His face is illuminated with a little touch of sunrise. Not too dark and not too bright. Hyunjin was right; his smile was just perfect.

Pecking Jisung's fluffy bed hair, he whispers, "I love you."

The latter instantly blushes at the sudden statement. Nonetheless, he succeeds maintaining his composure and replies, "I love you too. And Hyunnie..."

"Yeah?"

"I was joking when I said you weren't hot and that you were just a kid to me."

Hyunjin hums, eyes and ears focus on his boyfriend even more now.

"I've always seen you as a man.. and that's the truth." The blushing squirrel states. His shy gaze then meets the older's soft ones.

Mirroring each other, they both lean in, sharing a short chaste kiss under the beautiful sunrise afterward.

"Let's make even more memorable moments from now on too, Hyunnie."
