[The next day]

"So you guys haven't officially dated yet?" Jeongin asks his best friend.

"Mm. He told me he wanted to make it special."

The younger sighs. "Both of you're... unbelievably stupid." Receiving a death glare.

"Whatever. I myself love something sweet and romantic so I won't mind."

"And yesterday wasn't sweet and romantic shit enough for you?"

"Well.. it was more than enough actually. But that beside the point, we know that we like each other. So our relationship status shouldn't become something to be worried about."

The younger rolls his eyes. "Sure. Just don't come cry to me when some girls ask Hyunjin to be their dance partner for the festival later."

"... I won't. You're worrying about me way too much."

[D-2 before festival]

Of course it annoys him, might as well make his heart hurt? How come he not when his 'not yet' boyfriend has been asked by probably the entire school to be their dance partner for the festival.

His classmates even ask Jisung's permission first if it's okay for them to ask Hyunjin about it, just to test their luck, which he answers with a shoulder shrug and a small "sure" afterward.

"Why don't you go there and claim your man?" Jeongin teases, motioning Hyunjin who is being surrounded by girls right after he enters the cafeteria.

The latter pouts. "He hasn't become my boyfriend yet."

"I really don't understand why both of you agree to make it complicated." Seungmin shakes his head.

Jisung cannot say anything at that, just blankly looking at his lunch, mind wondering why he did not ask Hyunjin to be his boyfriend already that day.

"Should I ask him that today? Like after school?" He mumbles more to himself, but the whole table can hear it clearly.

"Well, why not?" Jeongin answers.

"There's a new dog café in our neighborhood. You probably can invite him there on the way home." Felix suggests.

The squirrel like boy nods. "Thanks, Lixie." Earning a goofy smile from the latter.

"I guess that means the three of us will excuse ourselves after school then." Seungmin smiles. "Goodluck, Sung."

Restless sigh keeps escaping Jisung's mouth as he waits for Hyunjin outside the class. The latter is currently having a discussion with the other students in the classroom.

As the smaller boy is in charge of decoration, he starts doing his tasks tomorrow. Hyunjin, on the other hand, is assigned to be a waiter since their class picks themed café for the upcoming festival. So right now, the older is probably practicing on how to be a good waiter.

Jisung straightens his adorable tiny legs, butt sits on one of steps of the stairway while mouth murmuring some incoherent words. He's practicing on how to ask someone out as well apparently.

Then as if on cue, the class door slides. He hears someone calls Hyunjin's name, so he halts his action to approach the latter, leaning his back against the wall next to his class, completely hidden. After all, the older does not know that Jisung has been waiting for him this whole time.

"About the dance..."

"Ah that, I don't think I can accept it." Hyunjin cuts off, politely declines. The younger cannot help but smile at the response.

"Actually..." She motions Hyunjin to come closer so she can whisper her statement. "I hope you wouldn't refuse, so..."

Jisung hears the girl once again asks and what he doesn't expect is...

"Of course, I'd love to."
