Chapter Seventeen- The reveal

Waking up, bleary eyed and confused. I sat up, stared around me and see Jade and Jess sprawled next to me, both of them stirring, I held my head and croaked out "Where are we?" Memories of being in police cars swimming all in my mind. I looked around me, noticing we were in a graveyard, mist and cold moving through the dark air and my heart started thumping. I shook Jess and Jade "WAKE UP!!" I said "get up, now, quick!!" I said and I stood up "What-" I said as I stepped on something "What am I wearing?" I said out loud and Jess and Jade standing up looked at me wide eyed. Jess was wearing a long blue dress, her hair perfectly styled and her make up perfect, Jess a bright pink dress, her hair long and loose, make up also done, her glossy pink lips shining bright.

"Why are we wearing dresses?!" I said and I looked down at my own olive green dress with sparkles flowing through it. "You look gorgeous girls!" I heard a familiar voice say out of the mist "WHO'S THERE!?" Jade shouted as we all huddled together but we already knew the answer, as Lauren's lookalike but less pretty twin walked in front of them, her hear lose and wavy, her dress the same turquoise Lauren's dress was at- "Oh my god! Your recreating-" Jess started and Lucie giggled icily "Yes, I am recreating the night I was watching Lauren and you, her annoying little loyal posse all have the time of your lives whilst she ruined mine!" venom may as well of spat from Lucie's mouth.

"No games! Just do it!" A male voice said and we swung around to see Rob walking towards us from behind "These bitches deserve everything they get and at this, my whole head spun "No" was all that emitted from my mouth and Jess and Jade both swayed "NO WAY!" Jess said anger spilling into her face, then shock and Jade looked green as the person who the voice belonged to wandered into view, Red locks waving down her back, emerald green eyes noticeably twinkling even in the dark "Miss me?" She said and all three of us gasped "Dani-why?" Jade managed and we grabbed each other's hands and Dani grinned, bearing the gap between her teeth, her purple suit with black belt and black high heeled wedges rustling through the wind and then her eyes narrowed.

"You four were always perfect, you all were fun, beautiful, bitchy, happy and me? I was nothing, nobody ever invited me anywhere unless one of you were arguing with one another, Lauren ruined my life, every single day she humiliated me, I may of been "in the gang" but I wasn't, not really was I. I was tomboyish, the outsider the one who kept you all safe" She said circling in on us and malice was spewing from her words "I hated HATED you all for it, but most of all Lauren, with her perfect ways of ALWAYS managing to torture me and everyone sticking up for her, you guys, the teachers, her parents MY PARENTS. E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E. I had enough! So, I killed her." she shrugged and Lucie laughed and Dani walked up to her and planted a kiss on her "Then I found my love." She said and now all three of us were shaking with anger. I spun around "And where do you come in on all of this, huh?" I spat at Roberto and he grinned "I was the mastermind, I manipulated, stalked, terrified and tortured you all. I was the one who broke into your houses." He grinned "And now, we get the pleasure in killing you all." He said and I shuddered and stared at Dani "Why- we were friends" I said and Jess had a tear rolling down her cheek "We MOURNED you!" She said and Jade narrowed her eyes "We spent MONTHS thinking you were dead!!" She said and Dani stepped forward, face contorted with rage "ME ME ME ME MEEE!!!!! always was with you lot" she screamed and we jumped back in fear. 

Dani lifted the knife, ready to plunge it into anyone of us at all when we heard sirens "Oh, we knocked out the officers too, move- into the woods- NOW- or I will kill one of you right now." She said and we all made to move, but before we did we heard the police call "DROP IT" "GET ON YOUR KNEES" "NOW!" They shouted and Dani swore and dropped the knife.

Two months later, once Dani, Lucie and Roberto were in prison and Molly getting therapy, we decided that it was time to leave town, each of us going our own way. 

Jade and Stacey had a baby boy, they called him River, they had a beautiful house, a dog, good jobs and Jess and Myles worked in number 10, Me and Lee had good jobs, seven cats and a big house. All of the past, finally behind us, meeting up here and there and never moving back to that town again.
