Jun looked at me weirdly, "If you're so important why haven't I seen you anywhere?" He scoffed, not believing I'm richer, smarter, and more important than him. I saw Midari walking towards where I was, so I decided to show, not tell. (as all the third grade teachers say) "Hey Midari!" I waved smiling at her, Jun instantly turned around seeing Midari walking closer to us. "Oh is this guy bothering you?" She pointed her thumb at Jun, now standing besides him. "Nah not really I was just about to ask if he wanted to gamble" I flashed a smile at Jun, sweat beaded on his forehead, he was panicking. "Uh no-not right now" I waved as he walked away from us. When him and his henchmen were a safe distance away Midari and I burst out into a fit of laughter, clutching our stomachs from laughing so much. "He's so dumb he didn't even know I was on the council!" I wiped a tear from my eye, having laughed so much. "Anyways, why are you out here? The duos gambling starts tomorrow, shouldn't you be planning with Runa?" "We need to plan?" Midari rolled her eyes "Well duh you need to target the weakest and all that, since you can't say no when someone asks you to gamble tomorrow." "wait- NO ONE TOLD ME THAT!" I did need to plan a little, but this would make winning a whole lot easier. "Well I'm gonna go now bye-" I waved to Midari as I sped away to the council room.
As I barged into the room, Runa was doing what she normally was, gaming. She looked up to see who came in, but once she realized it was me she just went back to her game "Should we plan a little?" I asked sliding into my seat next to her "It really isn't anything we need to plan, go for the weak. In our situation, the housepets or the people with a reputation for not gambling." I nodded, since I had nothing else to do I got up to leave, but once I stood up I heard Runa behind me "You could stay you know, you could play video games with me" I smiled, not expecting to hear that. I turned around and got back into my seat.
